York is one I am not sure about. I say Cheesley score a hattrick in a 1-4 with there and guess that must have been the old stadium. Maybe that makes my list 23, but that needs checking.

deffo a new ground now .

Just thinking , Cardiff was probably my 2nd home game . August 1970 we won 1-0 , for some reason we went on the Open End.

Suffice to say I think they were breaking records for arrests, around 100  I think , and it was much harder to get arrested back then .

    Gerry Sharpe, last minute ?

He failed to get selected for the new constituency of bristol north east even labour party members didn’t want this arrogant person - he and Brian Tinnion should get married they deserve each other.

As a dyed in the wool Labour voter , I would vote for anyone bar him ! He's a nasty little self serving shithouse ! In fact Lee Anderson could have been talking about him and NOT Khan !

Yes now it's been pointed out you can see it's the Braemer Road stand, the floodlights along the top of the stand were removed and traditional pylons were erected in each corner in 1963 ( per wiki) so the picture is pre that date. The old covered end kop terrace in the picture was replaced by the distinctive ' Wendy house ' 2 tiered stand in the 80's. I've been several times but after the kop end was demolished.

I went there a couple of times before they built the flats and ruined that end !

So you were complaining that you wanted him kept on in 2020? Most of his experience was in L2 at that point, he had no Championship experience before he came to us

I was complaining, where ? Got the wrong bloke there .

When I lived in Brisbane I worked for a company based in Melbourne. I spent all my time travelling as my area covered Queensland, NSW, Victoria, South Australia, Northern Territory and Papua New Guinea. Would fly home on a Friday, play football on a Saturday & rugby league on a Sunday before heading off again.  This song became my anthem.

You seem to have lived everywhere, I'm surprised you ever had time to visit Ashton Gate , which game was it ?  🤣

Hence my “how geared up are we to pivot….” comment.  I don’t know either.  My gut feel is that it would be panic stations! 🤣

But, an important but, does that mean that the “club” are paying lip-service to the ambition stated to be in the PL?

    Are we really PL ready?

I give you Luton, AFCB and Brentford .

People who announce and there will be such or such minutes of extra time.

    NOOOO!

Added ******* time, Extra Time is something different altogether.

The BBC match reports that say X scored in the 96th minute..........no they ****** didn't , they scored in the 6th minute of added time !

Last game of the season is away to Stoke City. A bit of a doomsday scenario, nevertheless, it could be that we need points from this game to avoid relegation.

With a dozen games of the season left we are nine points ahead of Stoke (who currently occupy 22nd place.) This is simply by virtue of our 12 wins opposed to their 9 wins (we have both drawn 8.)

Given our last couple of performances/results, against teams in the relegation zone, we just could get dragged into a survival fight and our final game could be crucial to both teams.

Just for added giggles we were, of course, 2 up against the Potters at Ashton Gate and lost 2-3.

As much chance as getting into the play-offs !
