  1. Tins, Manning and all and sundry that might not always fit the vision of the well versed on here with all things football. Lets face it we have a wealth of members on here that simply know better than those that are paid professionals at the club and can prove it by an endless stream of spread sheets pie charts and whatever to back it up. As said, I understand football fans by nature are opinionated and full of shit if you will, but the constant name calling and quite honestly unjustified personal ,yes snide remarks is becoming the main feature on here and quite frankly it's dull and boring, just now quoting a Tins signing all those years ago as crap. I enjoy debating, and I do on other sites, but I hate bullying, yes I might have a poke with the groupies comment etc but that is not really insulting, just a dig. As I said this cynical Bristol thing is very much a reality, if you need a reason why this club has not played in the Prem well this I am sure is a factor, a sprinkling of blind support as seen with Luton, Palace Forest all clubs much the same as us in size have it in spades. It seems on here being a loyal City fan is very much ridiculed. Finally, currently I feel happy with the club than I have for a few years, including the Pearson reign, I did find him oppressive and not at all engaging, and this I am sure is why he was sacked, by us and others.
  2. Sick of all the snidey posts tbh, just like a bunch of old 'wimmin' sticking in the boot when patently there is no justification at all, it says OTIB on the tin and yet some /most seem to delight in undermining this club and what it is obviously striding for. Is it a Bristol malaise that has to constantly attack individuals? The very people who have the best interests for Bristol City, I know football fans are fickle by nature but this forum currently is demonstrating a dislike for the club and most certainly the people who are employed by the club. Dare anyone actually call out these posts they are quickly dealt with by a follow up of 's or face palms....or even memes demonstrating to me they have lost the argument and resort to basic trolling. This forum must be food and drink to the other lot, FFS show a bit of support.
  3. Why this? It was a good shout....gives a whole new beginning and a closure to the Pearson wonderful years.
  4. Give it a rest a lot of water under that bridge, Tinnion must be front and centre in everyone's thoughts on here to continually slag off. God how I dislike internet bullies, IF he was in the same room as him you would be fawning all over Tinman wouldn't you? There was the 3 Lions debacle when it was then to voice any points to the ensemble and not even a titter, the keyboards are so much safer eh?
  5. Nige...please if only to shut the groupies up!!
  6. Nearer the truth then some might feel a tad uncomfortable with.
  7. Your question was a grovelling cringe. Someone should vet you. Utter rubbish,
  8. Yea but it has happened and I was there, the Prem League is a very different animal to First Division....and is a cause for concern, and don't write us off we have a brilliant young coach that is going places.
  9. Christ, are you at all serious? We are 6 unbeaten and storming the league. Why would you or anyone want to go backwards? Oh! yea it's OTIB.
  10. Wouldn't say it has been shit at all, sure some poor results against teams we should have beaten, but we did beat Hammers Leicester, Saints (in case you forgot) wacked Watford and Blackburn, drew with Forest...and we will probably end up with more points than last season under Nige, so very much a mixed bag, you say that's the end for you, so are you giving up? I can't because it's a lifetime commitment, and like life it has it's up's and downs. If you can't see the improvement in the last 6 games (12 points) that is promotion form then I don't think you are being totally genuine with yourself. So many on here still not prepared to give Manning any credit, last match for me was a real indication we are playing as a team, and were the better side on the day, carry on like this there is more than a chance we can worry the top half next season. What worries me more is how we were to cope if we do get promoted.
  11. Clue is in who hosts it....I am sure all the Nige groupies will love it whilst damning the club and all things bitchy like hair loss, snakes etc yet nothing to do with any common sense or football. You will love it .
  12. Good performance, hopefully the doubters on here will give the credit to Manning, he really is getting the results and better performances out of this team. A couple of quality signings and we will be fine.
  13. At a guess I would have thought scouting.
  14. One thing for sure, as football fans we are our own worst critics of the team we support. The other team forums have a rich source of anguish, condemnation, and profanity.
  15. For me it was the best result of the season, after 'losing'. Don't be too harsh, we are top on form table, and with this league these results are common, look at Leeds yesterday, we thumped them (Blackburn) 5.0 and they beat Leeds away, it's football. When we have Man City quality then I could forgive you to be disappointed, until then, it was another point won.
  16. Well who knows there was at least 55 minutes added on. But I think you knew what I meant
  17. Well thanks to the moaners on here after checking the forum at 5.55 yesterday it was pretty obvious we are rubbish, Manning out, and all the other expletives that was the result of another home defeat from a bottom 3 side. Now I take defeats like this badly, bin radio Bris, Gas won anyway, was in a real mood, hate losing... Flicking through youtube this morning I tried to avoid all things football and in particular City, but there it was highlights and we didn't lose.. Gone early on here again you lot.....always believe is the mantra isn't it? 3 pens in two games...World gone mad.
  18. So in the real World how do you change owners through the fanbase, you might have input re: managers but the owner who has put £millions into the club stadium infrastructure etc but I am at a loss how sacking Steve would help, unless you know the answers, or is it just silly talk on social media that has no bearing on reality? Of course IF a multi billionaire should want to buy up Steve then great, but not seeing a queue of such just yet, so let's just concentrate on supporting Manning and the team we DO have a bright future been saying it for some time, nice to feel that good things can happen.
  19. Well looks like the usual suspects have gone a tad early in writing off Manning the club, owners and whoever has the balls to stand up for the club. Still expect some scorn though, i.e how poor Blackburn were, but they had plenty to play for, we didn't, hopefully some light at the end of the tunnel, no need for a mass clear out a few additions and we should be fine.
  20. At least they have the right to be a league above in the moaning stakes, although we are top 6 and hoping for promotion.
  21. Always something to play for...check your commitment.
  22. Well what would you expect from City if we got spanked last time? Happy with a point it's football.
