  1. Not 80 or 90 yet...do the math as they say. Actually I am a ST but not always go due to travel etc, hopefully that clears up your misconceptions about me. Always have supported the club, even in the dark days, IF you think this is bad how about the years in Div 3 South, ot bottom of the whole football leagues...but even then we were united on the whole, no throwing out the toys after every defeat, mass sackings etc, seems like the big bucks of the Prem have skewed our view on the game.
  2. Fingers crossed for a defeat Monday for many on here I suspect, just so their wrecking ball gets swinging again. Actually before the game Friday this was the hope, we would get beat, that is just weird I cannot imagine personally that we lose any game, I have been City since Atyeo was playing for England, every defeat was a disaster and every win was a triumph, I would never boo. If you feel booing will help, why wait for half time or full time to boo, why not boo them as they come on before kick off that'll be just great.
  3. Public discourse? This forum does not represent anything to do with public, it is a cosy little chatbox for likeminded nay sayers of the club of which you seem to want to be the main windbag instigator.
  4. I don't see Ipswich as a million miles better than us, in fact they have had an extraordinary good fortune with lack of injuries thus far. We could have should have at least drew with them last time, IF they go up they will struggle to stay up a second season. What they do have is great support, they are not divided like us, one City club, and they seem to have belief in their set up, unlike us. Of course perhaps their best signing was Ashton, that is the bitter pill we have to swallow, but whilst we (not me) pilloried them he just made them Prem ready, OTIB at it's very best.
  5. It's always the same accusation, have a different opinion to the sheep on here your a Bot Troll or anything else they can grab to dismiss the truth.
  6. Give it time this sour taste you have will soon be gone, who knows it could be as early as Monday?
  7. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
  8. Not gloating but I have kept the faith (just), however I am delighted for Liam the abuse he gets , and I understand it's football and inevitable he get's stick but he must feel like a huge weight has been lifted. Lots of egg wiping and although we are not delivering per se it is hopefully a springboard, we are safe now and hopefully the team can put in a few more more performances to give us hope for next season. I understand one swallow etc but it's a great great win. Happy Easter fellow Reds you deserve this.
  9. That sort of foul get's ignored by ref's in favour of the top teams. There was a ruling that grappling was to be a pen, this ref didn't get the memo.
  10. Sorry if a bit 'deep' for you ...oh well.
  11. With all the odious betting ads and sponsorship that is rife in football, I guess the FA do have to share some responsibility, there is probably some sort of counselling available through the F.A but I can see their side of things to deter any match fixing scenario's they have to punish any rule breakers.
  12. Yep I got the T shirt....
  13. But you do watch Strictly, and not top flight football.
  14. I thought the England game was a good watch. Likes Toney's movement and confidence, we have plenty of talent in depth, just not sure if Southgate can unlock it, less talented teams win things with good coaches.
  15. Attention seeking...give it a rest, so churlish.
  16. Yes the 3 lions debacle...if ever there was a time it was then, sat on their hands...like I say pack mentality no one wants to appear rogue.
  17. A pack mentality on here, don't worry it's a common trait, where 99% follow the rhetoric fearing if they didn't they would be labelled Bristol Sports, Gas or a troll...(see a post to day on Jack whatever calling one of our long standing members troll for having an opinion not pack related. Personally I detest bullying and what I am seeing on here is very much that, OK it's football and you have to make tolerances for the mindset that are so called fans, but can you imagine how Liam Manning must feel if he reads all this stuff about not only football but his own persona too? Worth remembering it's only a game, and to take it beyond anything other than that is just wrong we once had a Corinthian spirit about us, whatever the abuse is be it racial personal or just plain vindictive it's wrong, we have a thread on here that covers mental health a pity we don't take heed of that before committing to another keyboard tirade on another fellow, whoever they are.
  18. Really ? Not that anyone on here would have the balls to confront him personally. It's all done behind keyboards.
  19. Players move on...sometimes for the better sometimes not. We had the best of Andi, good luck to him, top man.
  20. They were 27 unbeaten and flying at the time, another ridiculous post. One of the reasons they are 4th because we beat then 3-1. Honestly this place gets more childish by the hour, the reasoning used to be anger at the Board not Manning but the amount of venom to Liam is pathetic, school playground stuff. Bit like Starmer's campaign to oust the Tories, no alternative policy no idea as with here, who the Hell do we propose? NEIL ******* WARNOCK. OTIB at it's finest.
