  1. That's right hop on the Bandwagon. Such a vindictive lot on here that seem to forget Tinnion is a loyal servant to this club and was a wonderful player, but that counts for nothing because of all the 'Nige' groupies who just cannot accept that sometimes a fresh start is a good thing. I see Sheff U and Swansea have today acted, but some on here just don't get it. I
  2. Agree I am enthused we don't get stuffed, but frustrated with T.C, Harry etc so pathetic, what would I give for a Semenyo?
  3. Yep agree see nothing in those two, like they don't want to be here.
  4. The writing has been on the wall and the goals for column, Cornick was never going to be the answer, Tommy is all over the shop and needs Wells back, we are strong at the back, no one have dicked us thus far but how the Hell a City side has powder puff strikers that in previous years at least we had a goal scorer....even more frustrating when we have a solid defence and should be winning these games. What a cluster **** of a way to run a club? A succession of inept owners going back to '76, we have at long last netted a good young coach, of that I am sure, but he needs support financially the squad is bereft of quality and needs probably four good players however I won't hold my breath that he will be given the funds.
  5. It's a nice place Southampton, lived and worked there when City were in the top flight, still can't erase the horror of the 5-2 defeat at the Dell, always thought Saint supporters were an arrogant bunch though. Beautiful countryside with the New Forest and plenty of beaches nearby, and the warmest place in Britain apparently. As far as the match....feel we have a chance they concede and score plenty, so could be err.... 5-2
  6. Yes well done all and those who didn't crumble over this reshuffle.
  7. Best thing is lie low for a few weeks...things move fast on here , memories are short.
  8. Much hysteria on here regarding performance, what did we expect a free scoring passing game In truth it was a Pearson copy and paste game, at least the new coach can see just how bereft we are in attacking options, because this is the problem, defence is fine, in fact it's better than that it's promotion quality. Hopefully with the return of Wells TC will benefit, there is the talent already in the squad to score more he just has to unlock it. But with a 16 16 gd there are real signs that there is plenty to work with, and although not exciting at least we no longer ship goals for fun. Poor teams , very poor teams do, we don't.
  9. Its got 1-1 written all over it. But if we were to lose a sympathetic sooth sayer bone in me would feel the long suffering QPR fans deserved some luck.... Tough shit.
  10. You see what you want to see, whilst others see a lively session with the coaches at ease in their roles. The players look engaged and up for it....what youtube clip were you watching?
  11. The BS is all they have as a comeback, like calling anyone who challenges their dogma are trolls.
  12. Free the hostages. And stop talking twaddle about a a dirty tricks campaign on here with BS. Only on here eh?
  13. Bless ...it called football, it's a dynamic business, what should have the club done other than pay off a very good contract? Nigel is doing very well thank you, apart from health issues which I wish him well.
  14. Pearson is a solid coach, but not the type to take the club much higher than he achieved as of Cardiff his last match. There seems to be a massive fall out with the Lansdown's due to the muted' farewells' and the lack of appreciation with his time here. And this is Nigel's downfall with every club he has managed, appreciated ,but not actually 'loved' if you will. I honestly believe we are in a better place to-day than we were a week ago, a young coach that wants to play attractive football, certainly the comments I hear from the wider footballing world is we have scored a blinder here with LM. I don't work for BS I have however supported this club since the 60's in fact dare I say the 50's I first attended the Gate and probably not too senile to know a good exciting appointment when I see one.
  15. I note that fb over 90% of comments approve of LM. Which begs the question what the **** is wrong with this place?
  16. Or not...distance needed from the nasty repetitive childish comments.
  17. I just don't have the words to express how much I like this post!
  18. How insulting? You come over as a piece of work....
  19. That's sad I liked him as I am sure all the squad did. Good luck Curtis top man.
  20. The football was dire, the goals for column is a clue. if we consider football has to be entertaining then he was a fail, scrapping 1-0 wins is OK but not exactly something I can see us turning around under Pearson. What does concern me is is the future of Curtis Fleming in all this, he has it seems the low down on the players and for me I want him to stay, love the guy he is very media savvy unlike Nigel which for me was a hard watch when he was fronting. The media role is important and should not be dismissed as a chore which it was obviously for Nigel. Hopefully there will be a lot of humble pie consuming on here come May.
  21. Thanks for that but not sure about your own personal input is of any credence, let the facts speak for themselves in his very good win record.
