    Playoffs

Very little difference in quality between the teams in this league.

    Playoffs

Palmer has always been a glamour signing for whichever club he has played for.

    Playoffs

Kaseys career summed up by todays performance?

    Playoffs

The division in general has been really poor.
  5. I mean something has gone terribly wrong for a side to go from Marcelo Bielsa to Sam Allardyce in the space of 18 months. Absolutely mental.
  6. For the first time in a long time I can see all 3 relegated sides struggle in the championship next season.

    Playoffs

It came from Iorfa being injured for 1:30 plus the time wasting by the keeper - if anything the ref should’ve added more time on.
  8. Lots of respect for Coventry and the job MR has done, but of nostalgia seeing them in the prem again, Luton on the other hand….
  9. Injuries? Either way, if we sign him surely that spells the end of the Currie from Wimbledon rumours. NP likes players who can play in multiple positions and we will have 3 players who can all play left back to a consistent championship level.
  10. Yes but that was 3 years ago….lack of form and injuries since.
  11. Pring and Bryan on the left side could be a real partnership, the question I have is does Bryan still have that star quality.
  12. At the time I thought we had a real player on our hands, but in hindsight I think he was very limited. Very good at mopping up play and passing it on but other than that I think he offered very little. Probably why he is in Serie B. I think he had decent physical attributes in that he had energy and good fitness. Other than that not sure what he has about his game tbh.
  13. Oh I completely agree, but this idea that he didn’t show any signs of improvement or that he is a “level or 2” below the championship is just nonsense and a bit embarrassing to read.
  14. I respect that you are trying here but just re-read my last post.
  15. I mean there are so many flaws here but let’s just focus on one area of complete nonsense. “Didn’t show a sign of improvement”. 17/18 - 13 games 0 goals 0 assists 18/19 - 33 games 2 goals 6 assists 19/20 - 37 games 3 goals 12 assists I mean it’s just rubbish and factually incorrect, if you’re going to try and go to so much effort to slate an ex player at least focus on someone who was useless.
  16. Weren’t Arsenal fans already arranging the end of season title arrangements back in March?
  17. Looks like the toughest championship in years - literally no duds at all. Can see sides making a poor start to the season really struggling. Toughest league in years.
  18. A positive season - the biggest win has been the development of our young players into proven championship starters - add into the mix that we have started to play a decent brand of football. NP deserves huge credit for the progress made and steadying the ship. Another positive is the wage bill reduction. Moving forward we need to recruit well - with a GK, CB, LB, CMx2 needed. They need to be experienced heads as well as younger players, we need that leadership on the pitch. A good start to the season and if we are around the playoffs at Christmas then I would be looking to give NP a new 2 year deal, however if we are languishing towards the lower end of mid table, 14th/15th downwards, then I think we can thank Nigel for leading us through the transition very well, but time for someone else to push us onto the next level.
  19. Sorry but Ryan Mcgivern made COD look like prime Roberto Carlos.
  20. I think the other bits are the more impressive elements of his game. His tackling, driving with the ball, decision making. This is what has made him stand out. I still don’t think it’s enough to get the money we want though.
