Yes albeit with a much stronger squad and greater expectations then compared to now. I also think there was a bit of a falling out between Edwards and Pozzos right hand man . One got sacked - the other a new contact. I mean if we are bottom 3 when you visit in December for example there will be a change. No one is expecting this to be the start of a new dawn particularly.

He has done well there - will get a nice pay off ! Must have a very good agent . Not that I want him gone particularly as we must know by now the managerial merry go round doesn’t work . And actually generally we haven’t played too badly but last 2/3 games have been worrying particularly defensively. Ismael went to a back 3 on Saturday. Unfortunately it gave Middlesbrough free reign in midfield and that cost us the game really which he admitted .

They won't get a replay or points as no-one can prove Liverpool would have won or drawn the game if that goal had been given. Quite what the VAR and his assistant were doing at the time though to think the goal had been ruled onside which seems to be the crux of the issue. Cannot even say it was a subjective decision like a red card or penalty which VAR basically is tbh. Just another ref putting pressure on his mates or non mate on the pitch because they think it's wrong and the original ref feels obliged to agree with them.
