  1. Hmm slowly coming closer to making my mind up on this manager tbh
  2. Said that Toby said off camera he could have scored Bell's chance. Standard football fan chat, didn't need to be aired in that way professionally. Bad bloke. I've heard a bit about him being a nob
  3. I don't think we'd claim many of the Maidenhead players to be Championship quality because they beat Ipswich tbf
  4. Because watching him week after week I don't really see the composure that I was confident he'd score. Thought that would be obvious.
  5. Even a City XI on ability from the start of his career to now wouldn't see him in there. Shaun Taylor, Caulker, Webster and Flint would probably be ahead of him in the pecking order. Committed as he was (ignoring the time he went off to Cov and then had to back), I do think it's a bit sad that he was allowed to become the clubs record appearance maker ahead of the clubs number one legend. Edit - he might have a better chance of being picked in his younger RB role tbf.
  6. Nah I'm not the same with Conway, I'm a fan. Mehmeti just holds onto it way too long and does nothing with it. Waste of a shirt. Would love a signing to replace him tomorrow
  7. It definitely felt like we had control in the first half but as much as that feeling was down to us I said by the 15th minute that Forest just weren't up for it. First half felt a wasted opportunity. Second half they came out with a rocket up then but it seemed like we were also more dangerous. Felt an even game. At the moment our identity feels like good passing outside 30 yards from goal and then go wide every time and hope something happens from a cross. I don't think Bell or Mehmeti have the ability to be our match winners in those positions at all and I actually felt Pring for the last 5-10 mins of Mehmeti's spell gave up on him and felt like he'd just do it himself, and I didn't blame him. We need wingers signed imo. I also feel that Knight wasn't getting around Conway enough because each time the ball goes out wide he feels the responsibility to help the wingers more, which they need. This isn't a knock on McRorie btw who's really impressed me. I'd like to see him further back with a dangerous natural winger ahead of him, and it's not Bell.
  8. Shouldn't have had a testimonial. Was alright, as someone who didn't watch Atyeo I can understand why those who did are pretty miffed when you consider the difference in ability and status between the two.
  9. If you couldn't comprehend it the first time it's not on me to educate you.
  10. But you missed the point.... Never mind, I'll leave the rest to it
  11. Yeh you're not listening. People aren't moaning about assumptions FFS haha! Twine has signed and people are reacting to the fact of the signing. Are you okay?!
  12. I think you've missed the point of the post. People had opinions on what they preferred and have clearly explained them. You're choosing to ignore them
  13. You've missed the massive middle part where everyone was unanimous in the previous assumptions earlier today that a loan to buy/perm for £2.5m was a great bit of business. People have been consistent with how they viewed this move. There are some delighted with just the loan, there are others questioning the point of just a loan as it's not exactly building anything. There are reasons, stated clearly, which some are choosing to ignore and throw a tantrum.
  14. Can't see it, if he does well Burnley will want minimum £5m which is too much for us, if they drop to a more reasonable £2.5-3m then I think that's because he's not had the half season to justify us paying that much.
  15. If it is just a loan as being suggested then it's just pointless. Pearson said we don't develop other teams players for them, which was right - we shouldn't. We're just bolstering a rivals squad next season given their player experience and game time they can't. If true anyway
  16. Yeh my enthusiasm to this has dropped if it's solely a loan. We're just giving him game time ahead of Burnley coming back down. Just doing them a favour.
  17. The ironic part of this is they've appointed someone who's football is devaluing our potentially highest asset in Conway week by week. Which completely goes against the mentality we have of being a selling club.
