Poll on the Lansdowns - Stay or Go?
Randy Marsh II replied to The Constant Rabbit's topic in Football Chat
Yes and I'd have posted the same each week for the last 6 or 7 years. The Bristol Sport creation showed a certain someone had lost his grip on reality. Plus he sees something he likes one year and immediately thinks "I'll do that then", Barcelona, Brighton, Brentford models etc etc SL has no plan beyond trying to copy, not being able to succeed in that within a year or two, ripping it up and following a new fashion. That, and putting his son in charge who shouldn't be near anything other than running the fries station in McDonalds, shows he's not capable of taking this club any further -

People slagging off Bell need to get a grip, he wasn't even on the pitch today and you're piling on him -
Sending all my love hun x

100% agree Dave, they're just thick when it comes to running a football club, couldn't agree more

The balls left the foot so no idea, but he's offside to me there if the ball was at the foot and everyone remained in the same exact spot

Have we just entered a new period in the history of Bristol City
Randy Marsh II replied to Top Robin's topic in Football Chat
Balance is needed I think. Point off the playoffs but a loss yesterday and we are 14th. It was a great win yesterday and the first time I've been impressed over 90 mins, still though we conceded straight after half time - but we reacted really really well. I wouldn't have sacked Pearson and wouldn't have appointed Manning. But that's not Manning's fault and I have no issues with him and support him. The shit going on above is clouding my enjoyment at the Gate ATM. I can't lie I left at HT v Hull as I was bored and it was Friday night and the pub with mates was far more appealing in that moment. Just need to see how this goes. It would be very Bristol City to win the next two (or to even not on a separate point), be inside the top 6, then lose 5 and everyone ask for Manning to be sacked. Just take the next 5 months as they are with no expectations, enjoy it just don't get carried away because most of us have been watching City for 30 years or more and we know this club and the way it likes to implode in many different ways. He's gone from the worst recent points start for a new manager to the start of a new exciting era in 3 games. Let's all chill and not put too much pressure on. -
It’s broken and will never be the same! (Light hearted!)

Always surprised those crystals never work -
"We are sixth in the top five European leagues behind only Athletic Club, Olympique Lyonnais, Real Sociedad, Real Madrid and SC Freiburg. The Academy will remain a strong focus for us going forward." Bit of a strange one. We aren't in one of the top five European leagues so how can we be sixth? Surely loads of clubs across Europe at all levels can claim this. It's like we could say after winning the paint pot that we'd won more trophies than Barcelona, Dortmund, Liverpool and Man United this year. Just as an example.

Get ready to be sucked into the fight for survival. We will survive it, but we should never have been looking over our shoulders this season. Crayon boy and Tin brain out -
Morons. Spare Manning any blame. He's not cut out for this level, he's a rookie. It's the ***** that replaced a proven experienced manager with him that need all the blame for this.

Anyone thinking this season was over when Pearson was sacked is in for a big shock I think -
Tinnion is stupid to leave X. Social media is solely for the brain-dead. To leave his tribe is both brave and silly
-
He talks like LJ, that's enough for me to already be suspicious Best advice for him so far is to keep out the changing room at half time or if he has to be there to keep quiet. Quite frankly we're at a 100% shit rate in post half time performances. Which is worse than LJ.

Massively important anniversary this week
Randy Marsh II replied to phantom's topic in Football Chat
I was joking up there but genuinely not sure I've ever been so livid at a football match. The revenge was so ******* sweet. As was watching them fold at Wembley 10 mins into their play off final. Oh how we all laughed.... -

OTIB really is pathetic. Why are we celebrating Swindon pipping us to the title? I was fuming that day, watching them lift that trophy was up there with Stoke and Hull. I was done with the season after that, nothing worse than having nothing to play for before Christmas. -
If you're hoping for different style of football you've not been listening. The club have set the system and LM, or anyone else, has to work within that. He needs to adapt to us while getting top 6 this season. Tinnion and JL have told us that.

But anger shouldn't be directed at him. It must be directed at the chumps in charge who caused this.

Exactly the point I made in the OP, the thread has inevitably but not wrongly drifted. This is all on Tinnion and the owners. Change was not needed. Pearson, with some additions post Scott, was our best chance of progressing.

Oh Zuni, you idiot Have you already told James and King they're being released or will they find out from this thread?
