  1. I didn’t think about that, I get very annoyed when it’s big cup games and I have to tell people to move out the spot I’ve been standing in for years now, regardless of where my season card seat is I have no idea. Then you get some bloke who I’ve never seen before waving his ticket saying it’s his seat etc.
  2. It’s almost like Arsenal are a bigger club with more fans willing to buy tat for points, I imagine the uptake on our rewards scheme was minimal.
  3. On the grand scale of crimes at the minute, I think running on the pitch is one of the more mild ones!
  4. There is so much wrong with this country at the moment but two kids running on the pitch isn’t one of them. As I’ve said previously a lot of you on here seem to have such sheltered lives with no idea what’s going on.
  5. Young lads have been wanting to fight each other for 1000s of years, it’s nothing new, the trouble in the video masks anything on a city centre nighttime etc I do wonder if some posters on here have very sheltered lives on how bad parts of this country is becoming etc.
  6. I don’t think being on tv makes a blind bit of difffence for players anymore
  7. Another post on the same matter exactly what’s needed
  8. There’s absolutely no chance of that happening,
  9. I think people are simply getting bored of the style of football and the atmosphere etc I’ve had to miss a few games this season due to work and I haven’t been at all bothered I’ve missed it, watched the last 25 minutes on robins today and was glad I wasn’t there.
  10. On the plus side lads, it’s going to be a hell of a run when we get into the top 6.
  11. Im pretty sure that the women’s club isn’t connected to the men’s club, financially at least according to the charts.
  12. I agree with what you are saying about week in week out, but a lot of us support the men’s ever other Saturday (in theory) plus the odd away game, that’s a lot of time taken up, to then take up womens football too is too much of an ask for many people. There was a post on here before saying how womens football needs to grow its own support, and not assume people who go to the men’s game will want to watch the women’s game (for a number of reasons, much like a low uptake or under 21 spectators) which I think in the main it is starting to do. I remember going with my dad to mangotsfield to watch city’s women play Liverpool in the fa cup semi final, I think it must of been about 1995, it’s the only FA Cup semi final I’m probably going to see city play in.
  13. As such? Remember it’s Ashton gate limited who own it and not the club, what else in the stadium needs work do you think instead?
  14. The hard one is phantom, they can’t try to plug that we are all one big club if you then force them to play elsewhere. There’s many which include myself, and do watch the women’s games from time to time with my kids, that even though they are playing in a city kit, it isn’t city to me. I wish them all the luck but if they went down for example, it wouldn’t concern me at all where With the men’s it’s a different kettle of fish.
  15. Go on Mr P, don’t sit on the fence, let it all out
  16. Understand regarding leaving your car on a street, but I don’t think I’ve seen in 25 years plus of watching city cars being broke into. It’s normal residential roads with a lot of people passing by, it’s not unlit industrial estates etc.
  17. My god, what a sensible well informed post on where we currently are in modern day football. Great post.
  18. See, this is a bit daft, When in the last 20 years has that happened at Ashton gate?
  19. This goes back to, when is the last time ashton gate on mass sang that? Both of those songs are sung every game give or take. If people don’t want to sing, then they won’t regardless of the songs being sung.
  20. Riaz, Genuine question, what songs are loud and intimidating?
  21. Coventry sing an awful lot of what would be classed as “ultra, modern and generic songs” . Their away fans are very good but wouldn’t say their set of songs are different to other clubs, just the normal songs with the “insert name here”.
  22. Where do you watch the game from Mr P? From the singing section I rarely/never hear the rest of the ground , if it was noisier in other parts then that’s positive.
  23. Honestly speaking, I couldn’t make the Forest game, but I was disappointed with the West Ham game but that’s just standard now really.
