  1. People in those seats were pissed off they weren't told what the display would be
  2. Would it have been so hard to have started from a position of "we're going to do a display of xyz at the Birmingham game (insert rest of what the original post had)" Rather than "we're gonna do a display, but you're not allowed to know what it will be" I suspect the former would gave had all the support that the latter has, but without the 'pushback' of people asking what the display is (not a single person has actually objected to there being a display, despite the suggestions of a few comments) Possibly even could have had a few people asking if they can get involved or help out in any way, rather than manufacturing an us (who arrange these things) and them (who only ever join in)-like dynamic Would it not be better for Section 82, the atmosphere and therefore hopefully City too if more people wanted to actively contribute towards these types of things going forwards? That's not what I said though, do try reading it again.
  3. Not worried about it at all, but perhaps the people involved should consider being more open with others if they want more people to get involved with improving the atmosphere at games. Simply stated that's how it's coming across.
  4. Its not a big deal, so why not let people know what it will be when they ask what it will be?
  5. Absolutely this. I am all for things to be done to improve the atmosphere, I just find the very clear evasiveness (and clear contradiction to the original claim of not being ambiguous) to be more that a little strange. The pushback to the question of "what is it" is if anything more likely to discourage participation, even though- as you say- it is more than likely a positive thing.
  6. Again, no one has objected or even pushed back against it. No one is trying to stop it happen If a simple question of what they're going to be part of is such an obstacle then youre right it is no wonder nothing gets done, because the people apparently organising it dont want to cooperate with the people they're asking to join in with it If the question "what am I going to be part of" is something that's going to disrupt creating an atmosphere for you then I'd suggest you're really not bothered about the atmosphere and it's more about your clique and wanting people to follow along blindly
  7. And yet your first reply was "not x and not y", deliberately being vague and ambiguous, while claiming not to be You could have simply said what the message is. Hardly a big deal (none of this is, but again people simply asking what it is seems to have caused upset to some when it's a completely reasonable question)
  8. I'd suggest that more than 30 odd do and that as their displays happen with considerably more regularity most fans have a good idea of what they'll be part of
  9. No one has asked for a diagram, just what the display will be. Not at all unreasonable But keeping things secret from them- particularly when they are the ones who won't see it at all is going to be You say you aren't being deliberately ambiguous but that is precisely what you are being
  10. Haven't seen anyone worked up about it Have seen people asking what it will be, which is more than valid as a question to ask
  11. Had that view since VAR came in and was used to go over things microscopically instead of how they said it would be- "clear and obvious errors"
  12. It's either deal with it or a concerted effort by fans to tell sky to **** off with their love-ins. Ie- posts on all their social edits to tell them to shove their love-in up their arse. But this would take thousands of fans across the full spectrum of non-love-inned clubs and won't happen.
  13. It's so much fun that Hot Air even joined in on making Hot Air look stupid. Not sure it was intentionally, mind.
  14. Better get started then, so far you've only come out with a load of guff
  15. Not an authority, he just stated what it is clear for anyone with even a passing interest in lower league football to see. You've been coming out with lies relentlessly, Henbury Gas also, the constant bullshit over attendances in just about every capacity, being "bristols oldest club", being "the sixth richest club in england", with recent events even calling Bristol Rovers a "professional" football club is a stretch. Last time I checked professional clubs don't sell tickets for a stand that isn't built and also has no chance of being built in time for the season
  16. You give @Hot Air far too much credit.
  17. They're not even the oldest club in Bristol either ? Roman Glass St. George hold that one.
  18. Any particular reason you've ignored the several posts correcting you on attendances? At least 3 have pulled you up on it, and as I typed this you're actively posting on here, so no excuse for you to not answer
  19. Question was largely coming from having seen your comments on Szmodics (I think) a bit earlier in the day
  20. How many were LJ signings, how many were Ashton imposed signings? I'm not sure we'll ever truly know exactly how many were which. But we do know a few of which LJ was at the very least approving of (Abraham with the story of going to the parents house as one), others less so.
  21. I think Max is an upgrade over Bentley when it comes to quick distribution, but is out most obvious area when it comes to improving the squad. At not point when he has played have I felt assured with him in goal. He's got great reactions, but is a mid-table championship keeper at best when it comes to his overall game.
  22. I'm sure you (IIRC from reading for a while) as someone who played CB know a bit more than most how much the midfield in front are important for the CBs when they're on the pitch. Re Dickie, you don't have a season as good as he had at QPR, even with a good midfield in front unless there's something about you, but when a midfield leaves you exposed it can make you look a fair bit worse than you are if a few mistakes creep in
  23. What about as the only goal in a 1-0 home win over Liverpool (completely randomly picked- no idea why that particular team came to mind)
  24. That half really showed how important Scott is to the way we play. There were multiple times where the front 3 were 20+ yards from anyone else, but in those times it's usually Scott who makes the runs breaking the press and getting us further up the pitch. Don't think it's as bad as some on here are making out, but certainly needs to improve in the final third.
  25. Made 3 bets on this game, should have done them as a bet builder Saints to win Saints to win 2-1 Che Adams anytime scorer
