  1. "it's been a chance of very few chances, indeed we've seen more Bristol City injuries than chances"
  2. How many down injured now? Just joined the thread
  3. Exmouth were up last season as well, was going to go, but it's a long journey for a miserable February away game at that level. Bemerton, Cribbs, Mousehole and Malvern are the ones that came up for this season
  4. Is that dual registration or has he just left Paulton? Presumably can't be dual reg within the same league? Can't imagine he'd have been popular in the dressing room after some of his interviews and tweets, but he also made a big song and dance about saying he'd carry on playing for Paulton after being sacked
  5. Farm don't play next weekend, but most of the chasing teams are playing each other, Bishops Cleeve vs Bideford and Larkhall vs Mousehole. I think it could go down to the final game, which for Farm is away at Frome who will be hoping to seal the title
  6. Yep, superb Easter weekend for me. City and Farm both taking 6/6
  7. Farm take a late lead, sounds like it was a corker
  8. What they said isn't wrong though. I didn't agree with Nige being sacked, but there's a not insignificant number on here who are fully bought into the Nige cult of personality and have, from the day of appointment, not been willing to give Manning a fair chance. That doesn't mean people can't have reservations about Manning either, but there is absolutely a group here who go out of their way to negate and diminish anything Manning gets right, while at the same time exaggerating and focusing on things he gets wrong.
  9. But perennial failure Lampard would get us promoted?
  10. An actual decapitation might have the ref check with the lino
  11. Willand goal was by ex Farm Owen Howe
  12. Farm 1 down at HT but been all over Willand for a while
  13. It was also both arms around and a throw, rather than just blocking The foul continues into the penalty area, so it is a penalty.
  14. The other player at Farm to keep an eye on is Jayden Neilsen Absolutely superb and the assist for both goals today. He's been brilliant all season and the last 2 seasons as well Edit- Jayden is usually number 7, but he turns up all over the pitch.
  15. At this point I think it's entirely in the hands of Farm. Although that by no means makes it guaranteed until it's mathematically impossible to miss out Only 1 home game left now. And getting Owen Brain back on dual registration from Gloucester is huge. He is far too good for Southern league div 1. He could easily have a national league career, maybe even league football. Frome and Westbury are pretty easy on the train, Tavistock on a Wednesday night will be impossible for me, but the rest I should be at. At this point, if Farm miss the playoffs I can't see it being by more than 2 points
  16. Probably going to go to Willand away on Monday now, because I spoke to Lashenko and he's happy for a minibus to be put on. (I don't drive) This season has a very similar feeling to 2 years ago when Farm made the playoffs with the 1 exception of this season being entirely in our hands, whereas 2 years ago it took a run of something stupid like 19 wins and 3 draws from 22 to sneak in the playoffs. But the similarities are so much that it looks like Frome away will be the semi final, just like in 2021-22
  17. 2-0 win for Farm. Big result and leaves them 4th for the time being.
  18. I wasn't saying you said that, but that's some of the things others have used to take credit away. But it was somewhat relevant as all the context you were giving was entirely one sided. My point was that context around the game should always be given from both points of view, rather than one sided to diminish the performance of the other.
  19. The penalties are another facet to the "but Vardy missed chances" If one is context, the so is the other.
  20. So the win needs the context of Vardy missing chances, but not Conway and Mehmeti missing chances? It needs context of some nonsense involving the Leicester Women's team having a bit of drama but not us being denied two blatant penalties? Leicester being in poor form, but not us being in worse form. Seems the context you're providing is more than a bit one sided.
  21. Huge game for BMF today, home to Evesham. 5th vs 7th. BMF 2 points higher, but Evesham with a game in hand. 5th is the final playoff position. BMF doing an offer where if you show a City season ticket or any ticket from the Leicester game yesterday you get discounted entry.
