It's nothing to do with unambitious ownership, it's quite simple really, when a PL club comes calling most if not all championship players will jump at the chance of joining them.

There are 3 season ticket holders next to me in the South stand that were there for 5 games at the most last season, 2 adults and a child. Expensive way to watch 5 games but nice for me.
I thought the atmosphere today was awful, all felt good before the game nice buzz, get in the ground and it was flat as a pancake, disappointing all round today.
We wouldn't have taken any more than 600 for a game on TV on a Friday night, we took 500 odd for the season opener at Sheffield U for a lunchtime game a few years back, we don't travel well for TV games.
