Top of my head these were all poor performances.

Fella should be a used car salesman.

    Qpr (a)

    Norwich

    Huddersfield

    Blackburn

    Birmingham

    Millwall

    Preston

    Leeds

    Qpr (h)

    Sheffield Wed

Birmingham and Millwall stand out for me. Both teams were on the verge of sacking their managers too

Steady on now boss. I’ve had a busy day at work so only just came back to here!
I’ve acknowledged many times that the Cardiff game was a totally impossible situation.
When I mention TGH at RB it’s in the previous 2 matches when Knight & James were both available to play in midfield. With Tanner out, TGH should really have been the next logical option.

And Pearson has already played him there 3 times so I don’t see why he wouldn’t have done so on those 2 occasions?

    100% incorrect.
I was watching MK that season as I was keen on Twine (and O’Reilly).  Nothing to do with Manning.
And I think you’ll find that on the lengthy Manning thread which started a few days before he arrived, on the early pages I was the first person on this forum to raise the concern over the appointment because I didn’t feel his style would suit our squad.

I have no particular love for Manning. I was the first to raise concerns over his appointment (as clearly evidenced in that first thread in November). I’m just of the opinion that it’s only fair to give him a fair crack of the whip, rather than want him out after 2 weeks (which some posters on here wanted and have never given him a chance).

To be absolutely clear - I was never “Manning In” but I’m now “Just give the bloke an effing chance ffs”.

If we weren’t promised top six I think Manning would have been given an easier ride.

  3. I wonder if Yeboah asked for the loan? There was this talk of him being upset at being dropped from the first team squad so perhaps he wasn’t happy about going back down to under 18s.

If this is the case, good on him for being ambitious and believing in himself. Hope he does well at Bath and proves a point.

Bit of a conspiracy theory maybe- but was Twine on the bench v QPR to try to save face after the criticisms aimed at Pearson/Rennie re player availability? Also were Pring and Sykes pushed back into the starting line up despite not being ready for the same reason? Who is making the calls on player fitness?

Can’t remember many times under Nige/Rennie when a player was brought back in whilst so obviously not ready.

    Absolute shambles.

This crossed my mind last week when we were crying out for Twine to come on.  There was obviously no plan B, so Manning took a gamble on Twine hoping we would cruise to victory

There's some odd cult like obsession at the moment why all these months later can't people move on?

It’s not just us though, what about Conway. He’s still spending his Friday nights sat on the sofa eating tubs of ice cream crying over a picture of Alex Scott

  6. How about our academy players.   Before Manning took over NP & BT were telling us what a bunch of talented players we had coming through the academy, some of which we saw this season (Yeboah, JKL, J James etc).  Since then, nothing and to make matters worse we blocked their pathway with loan players.

This is the big worry for me atm.  Take some responsibility.  All the best managers do.  All the shit ones don’t.   That’s not just football, that’s all areas of life.

Mourinho was good at deflecting criticism from the players. He would cause some kind of controversy just to deflect. Manning on the other hand just threw them all under the bus because they couldn’t download his data

His agreement to spend the **** all money we had on dross like Mehmeti, crap spells time and time again, calling players out in public. Did his job, replaced with the wrong man from the look of things.

Was it?  Wasn’t it Tinnion who told us all how he and the scouting team find the players and then recommend them to the Manager/coach.

Kal Naismith was spot-on with his observations.  I think he'll make a very good manager after retirement.   Just a pity he's not available as I always think we play better with him in the side. He may make the occasional mistake but never shies away from having the ball and trying something positive.  As he said today, aside from being slow to react, it looked like players didn't show for the ball or want the ball.

His analysis was the only decent thing about the game today. Naismith’s honesty was refreshing. He seemed as bemused by the lacklustre display as us fans and he didn’t hold back from criticising Memheti

OK folks; addressing  negativity on here.

Take the last three results and for some it's the end of the world losing at home to QPR.

If City had lost 2-1 at Middlesbrough, beaten  Saints 3-1 and then won 1-0 v QPR, people would be declaring "We're on the right track. LM has got the club going in the right direction" etc.

It was the manner of the defeat against a team who are in the relegation zone.
