Two separate teams , if Radio Bristol want to do a show about Bristol City women they should have their own show. I switched off because I have no interest in the women’s team . Does the Rovers programme talk feature their women’s team ?
Is a one hour football show dedicated to Bristol City on our local broadcaster to much to ask for

That’s a design for the sport kits .
It’s not same as changing the colour of the English flag , it maybe means nothing to you but the flag of this country stills means something to millions of people .

Sounds similar to 70s Dutch Total Football

If the uptake in season tickets is slow (which is expected by some fans) and he gets 2 more poor performances (not results) then he will be sacked,
I think you make a good point , the board will not only be looking at points but season tickets sales will be more important to them and that could push them making a decision they desperately don't want to make.

I do wonder if Lansclown was 'that' boy on the playground who brought his ball along & when things didn't go his way promptly took it home & is now continuing in the same vein in adulthood
I think he was the nerdy clever one who always brought a sick note from mummy to get him out games .

He seems very nervous. Doesn’t believe what he is saying. The lack of eye contact is not an admirable trait for somebody in his role. Moving from side to side. Weak vocals. A person who has jumped at the opportunity to increase his wages, but knows he lacks the ability, skill and persona to ‘coach’ (Not manage) at this level.
Manning reeks of cosy, comfortable, average Lansdown’s Bristol City.
I know it’s a cliche to say he’s out of depth but I honestly think he is .

Taking football out the equation entirely….
If I had an experienced manager leading me; someone who had worked for companies at the highest level, a proven track record, seen everything in the industry with buckets of first-hand knowledge and experience and someone who was evidently a well-rounded, articulate people person, motivator and leader.
If he, let’s call him say, Nigel, just first name off top of my head. If Nigel was replaced by someone who had al a few qualifications and some experience at a company I know I could work in with my eyes closed, and who’s experienced paled into insignificance, but was really chummy with the CEO, covering his arse and not backing his team, then yeah, pretty sure my motivation would nosedive too.
Yes they’re paid handsomely, but they’re people.
Also if you worked in a trade and you manager who now works in the office was on the tools for years and was well respected by his fellow workers , and he got the sack and was replaced who someone who has never been on the tools but just have the qualifications but never done a proper days work in his life , you’ll be a little bit miffed and he would have to earn you respect

The sensible option is we give him to the end of the season and make a decision if results and performances don’t improve . If Maining is forced out the door Tinnion should be following him closely behind.

After the sacking of Nigel due not being in a better league position, the Chairman said we should be challenging for promotion with our squad , budget and set up .
So whoever the new coach/manager is according to Lansdown criteria anything less than a top ten finish with striking distance of the play off will be a failure.
Let’s just see how this pans out and hold Lansdown accountable for his decisions. -
I was having a drink last night at The Avon Gorge Hotel and who did I spot on the table opposite, the former Charlton Manager Alan Curbishley .

Listening to John Lansdown I firmly believe the only way the club can progress is for the Lansdown to sale the club and leave .

I posted last week about a delay in starting the new arena . After reading 9 pages of this am I putting 2 and 2 together and deducing that Lansdown is about to cash in his chips with Bristol Sport?

Back in the day, Dolman A and B block was rocking (Shows how old i am)........Thats was when Ashton Gate was a passionate and Hostile stadium....I am all for it. If it brings more atmosphere than currently displayed then crack on..
I started if of in the enclosure and by the mid 80s moved to A and B block . It was the place to be back in the day , especially when the away fans were in the open end .

Drove past the ground today and noticed Wickes was still open and it got me wondering when the build will start for the basketball arena . Planning was granted in October of last year and I recall a start date for the build was summer 23.
Have a there been a delay in the build or is everything still on schedule.

Isn’t about time the women footballers deserve equal pay with the men .
How in 2023 this situation is allowed to continue, surely the government must put through legislation that women and men are paid the same .
I see I’m not alone in this call there are many MPs and high (and low) profile celebrities demanding action on this issue.
