  1. I certainly thought he was booked for pulling the player back earlier on
  2. Wells occupied both CB last night and won loads in the air against a much bigger player, just because he didn't score doesn't mean he didn't play well. Also his dropping in and linking the play was great
  3. He has the potential to be great but at the moment he just doesn't produce. He is possibly our most skillful player but he still doesn't seem to beat a man or whip in decent balls
  4. I never said the club didn't want to, in my opinion the club should have made the decision to sell though
  5. I highly doubt we couldn't have drummed up a bit of interest in the divisions 2nd highest scorer. Especially when we had Semenyo coming through properly, even £5m ish at the time would have helped strengthen the side in areas where it was needed. I really struggle with weimann as he is an intelligent player but I just don't see what he is, especially in our current system
  6. I said to my mate at the time of Weimann being top scorer that we should have cashed in on him then. He was never going to do that again and at the time we could have got a decent fee for him
  7. Not read the thread but no way should it be equal pay until the women's game generates the same money mens football does. It has come on loads in recent years but attendance are still Miles behind the men's game
  8. Sorry are you talking season ticket? My query was about membership, I haven't had an email on 6th of July. I had one on 28th which doesn't contain anything about non smart phone
  9. How did you go about requesting it? Just went to go on main site but it's down
  10. Sorry to jump on this thread but are there physical cards for members this year as well?
  11. That goes out the window after we win our 1st 10 games though
  12. I am worried mainly because I don't think Max is good enough to be number one so if they aren't good enough to dislodge him then that is a major concern
  13. He is clearly a very intelligent person and appears he sees a lot more opportunity to being a footballer than just the playing football side of things. I am suprised he ended up at Millwall but I think it is simply his 1st choices didn't pay off. Personally if I was good enough to be a footballer I would use the opportunity to live around the world at a young age and discover new things. Like you say I think people are missing what he was saying and in no way is a negative on City
  14. I didn't take that comment as City are a backwards step in his footballing career because he believes that millwall are better but more returning "home" is a safe bet and a backwards step in life when he wants to try new things.
  15. I get what you mean but hadn't we just made decent money off of Flint and Kodja? Palmer I think most were happy about signing but it didn't turn out well. Dasilva I think would have been class for us buy had a big set back with a nasty injury but always done well when called upon. Kalas as stated has been class throughout and had 1 injury hit season. My gripe isn't at the signing of these but at the likes of wasting money on people like engval. I suppose also the Palmer deal was odd when we had pato and just signed Smodics but like I say I think majority of people thought what a good signing it was. If covid hadn't killed the market we would have probably recouped the majority of the money as well.
  16. As much as I don't hold any animosity towards Palmer I get that we didn't get a good deal there but to throw the other 2 into that category is just wrong. Especially Kalas, apart from last season when he had injuries he has been absolutely class for us and even captained the side.
  17. Yeah it possibly is a bit different but the point is use what is available to you. If HNM was a dick and strolled around the pitch not caring I would let him rot but that wasn't the case and Pearson made it clear several times how professional he was about it.
  18. Right so if you buy a car on finance for £10k say for 4 years and the dealer tells you at end of year 3 that you can't extend it would you say **** it then I'm not driving it for the final year or would you think lets make the most of this asset I have paid for?
  19. I get it's your opinion but I disagree. He made it clear he wanted to leave/have a new challenge but remained fit and ready through out and always gave 100%. I honestly don't get the club/pearson refusing to use an asset. The way I look at it is youbsign a player for X amount for X number of years. You can't guarantee they will stay for longer so use them for the period you purchased them for.
  20. Think the game coped fine for many years with only 3 subs. Very rarely did it cause an issue for clubs and it kind of forced clubs to hold a sub back. Much prefer that than every bloody club changing 3 attackers in the 60th/70th minute as though it's American football. Like I say it's my opinion and I get we all see it differently and I am a bit of a traditionalist ( traditional for my generation anyway when it's been 3 subs)
  21. Personally wouldn't even do that. I think if you make 3 subs early on and get a player injured then it's tough. All part of the game
  22. I have no issue with 9 subs being named but I do wish it would go back to only 3 subs allowed during the game
  23. Obviously he is a complete moron but why does the fact that he isn't from Manchester mean the rivalry isn't real? I'm not from Bristol and have never lived there. Had a season ticket for years though and been going since I was about 5 years old and trust me the rivalry for the Gas and Cardiff is real.
  24. I was a massive fan of Fontaine but didn't his dip in form all coincide with becoming captain? Which I am guessing from memory may have been because Carey was out? Retired? Could be that he just needed a leader next to him yo bring the best out of him.
  25. Those pictures not one of them is using an elbow. Do I think they need to clamp down on players going at officials? 100% yes. Am I glad the ref didn't get punished? Also yes But do I think if a player had done the same he would have been punished ? Again yes. My point is officials are not only there to officiate but also set standards. What pisses me off is that players get pulled up on the most ridiculous little thing and would have definitely been done for what the ref did.
