Their style is night and day to ours. We can't score and they can't defend

There was one dodgy moment towards the end of the first half when he pushed infield to help Vyner stop a counter attack through the middle but left his man clear out wide Their best chance came from that so hopefully the coaches can go through it with him as in that instance he went too far inside

I love him, so tidy on the ball and his positioning is fantastic

Good to see our fanbase reaching down into Devon, as it should be as the biggest club in the whole region -
We played much better at the London stadium less than three weeks ago against a proper PL level club. We created some great chances and scored a wonderful goal. Forest looked like a yo yo level team, no better than the parachute teams in this division and a home draw is only about par I would say

Quite, we cannot rely on Conway all the ttime especially as he is always up against two centre backs. Need more from Bell , Mehmeti and Knight but it's difficult to imagine any of those three chipping in enough

It isn't the forwards especially, it's no bloody creativity and a hesitancy to get the ball into the box
-
A few of the respected posters on here have said Atkinson is straight back in when fit. I don't see it at all Get him ready for next season as there's no way we are keeping both of Dickie and Vyner in the summer
-
Was this a sarcastic post? He was atrocious, starting with penalising Mccrorie for skinning two of their players. Weirdest decision I can remember in a long time

266 minutes against PL opposition without conceding. Name me a better Bristol City back five in the last 30 years probably more than O'Leary Tanner Vyner Dickie Pring Webster and Kalas (plus Maenpaa) were a great pairing but full backs were not near our current pair. Tanner what an absolutely quality defender. Hudson Odoi took one look in the fourth minute, turned back to his full back and disappeared.

Very good from us, no creativity as usual. Forest look utter toilet for a Premier League side, probably get us on the counter in the second half -

Imagine signing a reject from your rivals because he lives in the same city. Bad enough. Then lose him to a club 22nd in the league below on the other side of the country. Wow
-
We do well against play off chasing team. We don't do well/always fall to one goal defeats against automatic/parachute teams. So on that basis we can expect two draws and two defeats in the next four.

The Pearson era was truly thrown in the bin way too early

I posted bemoaning the 4-2-3-1 formation when Knight was at the tip of the midfield as we weren't creating anything. Twine is perfect in that position so anything other than that formation is a big headscratcher
-
It seems like a formation to shoehorn Knight into the team in a somewhat attacking position, along with Twine, which seems a little bizarre to me. In Twine we have the player we actually needed in the summer as opposed to Knight who has much less threat going forward. In saying that I would actually have started Knight yesterday instead of Twine against a possession heavy team like Watford to press them high. Knight and Twine to me shouldn't be playing in the same team unless Knight drops back but even then I prefer one of the more CDM type players plus TGH in the middle
