  1. Exactly, definitely not Palace ffs
  2. The banner said 'wasted potential on and off the pitch' What a load of nonsense. If you compiled a list of overachieving clubs (both now and historically) compared to fanbase, stadium, etc etc then Palace would be right near the very top of the list.
  3. How did that happened? We've dominated according to the stats
  4. Also with most clubs trying to play 'Manningball' with younger new coaches , it strikes me our best chance was to be slightly different. A la 'Pearsonball' Our shiny new intelligent coach ain't gonna be so good in a division of shiny new intelligent coaches
  5. Of course not everything but Palace's attendances in the Champ are poor. Their display yesterday seemed very Charlton esq.
  6. https://european-football-statistics.co.uk/attnclub/league/cryp.htm Their attendances are utter shit, they'd be near the bottom of this years Champ
  7. That was unbelievable from Palace. Shite support base (17k usually in the Champ) and yet always seem to be in the Prem, well overachieving as a club
  8. 16 points from 13, total stain on Lansdown, Tinnion and Marshall. Totally as expected by the majority of the fanbase. No blame on Manning at all from me
  9. Would like to see him in the attacking midfield tip of the 4-2-3-1 we have been playing all season, with options forward and wide
  10. https://gaschat.co.uk/thread/21868/gas-league-position-end-season Just linking/bumping this Gas Gold thread 80 points
  11. Since Manning came in how many goals have we scored as a result of the play he was bought in to achieve? By that I mean after a spell of possession and pressure, some nice neat passing, bang goal. All of our goals remain the type we scored under Pearson, on the break and or pinching the ball high up the field. That is quite disappointing for me so far
  12. Beat me to it Only the 53 points in 20 games to reach sixth place extrapolated points total W️s
  13. Solid point in our quest for 12th... From being 7th / 8th around the New Year and really looking upwards this run of results coupled with other teams like Coventry always winning has really cost us a play off push. We are about as far off now as we were at points in late winter last season
  14. Obviously he's not 100% fit but I agree he doesn't look like a natural wing back or wide player, more of a full back
  15. Quite, the day after buying Twine in readiness for Twine and Knight to play together with sacrifice to width
  16. I'm not quite sure why we've changed formation to accommodate Twine, or perhaps Knight. Either Knight drops back into the CM two or Knight and Twine don't play together
  17. It's a very strange thing mainly because he is home grown I guess and he used to be a bit dodgy when he first broke through
  18. Burnley training ground, whilst not called a High Perfomance Centre, looks no worse if not better than ours https://www.barnfieldconstruction.co.uk/portfolio-developments/barnfield-training-centre-for-burnley-fc-padiham/
  19. Agree I don't have a problem in celebrating the squad but bloody hell it's absolutely pathetic creaming ourselves about the biggest club in Bristol beating the biggest club in a similar sized city
  20. What a town , unbelievable it still exists in 2020's Great Britain I've been all over the world and it's undoubtedly the worst place I've ever seen
  21. Only Rovers could build a whole new stand and first game, the gap gets even bigger
  22. Hey, how do you choose your guests? It's your POD (without be the same without you) and Ian/Mark etc are lucky to be on it. Be nice to have other contributors from time to time? Like Jerseybean lets say with his history
  23. Quite, City Women v West Ham is almost the same price as the men v Forest
  24. Me neither, well overrated as a club and fanbase
  25. Wonder what the score would have been if Norwich wanted it
