I dont personally see why you should be able to pay £50 for a child's season ticket to then be able to give that ticket to any Tom that you happen to know when tickets are in high demand

There are some proper odd views on here. The truth: Maenpaa was great Bentley was a downgrade with his floppy wrists and latterly an inability to deal with simple crosses (see Birmingham Autumn 2022) Max was dodgy when he first came into the side and let in Bentley type goals in particular against Luton a few years ago. Since then he has improved considerably and is better than Bentley by a good margin Hence why our Goals Against is by far the lowest since the Maenpaa season and probably one of our best at 2nd tier level EVER

I can see why West Ham fans get frustrated with him though. So much quality when they turned it on but ultimately offered very little certainly in comparison to their league position.

Amen to that Knight has a big role to play against possession sides but when we are taking the initiative he is pretty invisible/slows play down too much imo

Don't think we turned up in either of those games though

Gotta win the replay. Reminds me of WBA a few years ago, more than deserved draw at their place but then we didn't turn up at home

Loads of comments on how we roughed them up. Not sure about that, we competed well aerially with them but there was only one bad challenge- Conways was a bit naughty backing into their guy who was already in the air

Cup game against lower league opposition, cheap tickets to fill the ground, there was inevitably more families than would otherwise be the case.

A bit harsh maybe but I thought Knight was our worst player by a distance today. His scuffed pass straight to Zouma on the break in the second minute set the tone for our bad start and didn't see him in the game much after that. Agreed, they both did really well

The support today was fantastic I was stuck with the West Ham fans and barely heard a peep whereas we were on it throughout the game

We've played excellently but haven't had the ball since the subs
