  1. Absolute shambles that goal! Iv seen 10yr olds defend better than that! All the talk of Brownhill being a great player, and he can’t even get goalside of a player in goal mouth even thou he looked to side and saw the players moments before. Pathetic
  2. Thing with little is that he plays with heart, fitness and ability to run at players. Yes he's had a good couple games but right back would still be the first position we need to strengthen next season, a position that should have been sorted 2 seasons ago. He would be torn apart by better quality players and he's not good enough if we want to push on.
  3. Yep this is a definitive yes on the betting coupon, 8/15 is great odds considering our respective form regardless of both teams missing main striker
  4. Bobby Reid and Joe Bryan done nothing all game, but we can't criticise them because they are Bristol lads! People saying Freeman was anonymous, yet created 3 of our best chances in first half and linked up well with Matthews. Korey Smith has lost his energy and ability to pass forward. Tammy needs to be more clinical. Yes he's been great this year but gone off boil and needs to learn when to put foot through ball We might need 3 windows to change the squad as Johnson said, but keep losing games & dropping down the table, and players won't want to join us
  5. Both teams are compact so it's not a spectacle. It seems like we have changed the formation to suit Little (who to be fair is having a decent game) but it's stifled our game and needs to be changed. Johnson will either take Flint off now or tell him he's got 45min to prove his place in the team.... il go for later and safe bet of swapping someone like Patterson for Engvall around 65min
  6. Too many players not affecting the game. Tammy has no support because Tomlin is playing as a defensive midfielder at times and Bryan has been pushed centrally so we have no width or pace either side. The less about Reid the better! Thankfully we're not out the game yet...
  7. Listening to commentary there's seems to be a partnership slowly building between Tammy and Kodj, but Tomlin again seems off the pace. Bar that we seem solid enough and just missing that final ball but signs are promising, let's hope we don't concede a stupid 2nd goal and stay in the game.
  8. Despite going into the second half ahead after 2 opportunist goals (not taking anything away from Reids strike) we were poor for large parts of the game and resorted far too much to long balls AGAIN in the second half with a striker best suited with balls to his feet. Derby were much better second half pushing forward more and putting pressure on defence and generally wanted/won the ball more all around the pitch.. A lesson in what's needed to compete at this level
  9. I see no-one has mentioned the numerous times Kodjia could have played the easy ball or first time pass, but then decided to do another turn on the ball and envaribly get worse off.....
  10. I don't think any City player gave their all today compared to recent games. I would say only Goldbourne and Freeman possibly would get 7/10 today and that's being generous
  11. Diabolical performance. Seems like the team believe (like some fans) that we have survived this season and that's enough! Game was played in defence and attack, with Baker & Flint heading/kicking aimlessly towards our strikers who couldn't do anything with it. Just poor all around!
  12. Totally inept performance, can't think of one single positive from that half! Certainly can't do no worse 2nd half Reid powderpuff, Bryan lost, Little knackered already and constant high balls to Kodjia which isn't playing to his strength. Just shows how poorly balances our team is when 1 player is out and we then have to play about 2/3 out position to cover
  13. IF it was Cotts fault no-one came to us in the summer and he told SL the players would be good enough then you could understand SL saying "thanks for everything but goodbye" However I do believe it's more the chairman/DOF fault and thats why he will stay and given another transfer window to fix things. It was always gonna be hard going Burnley and getting something today, it's the results like last Saturday that has left us in the awful position. I can understand people wanting Cotts to go but the club is better in his hands now with the window this close, but if it was obvious he 'lost the players trust' then I'd hate to be in SL shoes
  14. Well at least we know now what Cotts FT comment will be "why did play continue after the 1min has gone?" - players are taught to play until whistle from early age so no excuse there! If he is not brave and at least attempts to get back into the game 2nd half I can see this being the final straw for his tenure.
  15. The bigger concern is how long Wilbs will last, that's not saying he didn't have a good game on Sat but he cert can't last more than 60 this time.... Maybe a miracle sub before 80min will happen today!
  16. Not surprised by lineup as others have said with Cotts rarely changing lineup when we win. Wilbs deserves to keep his place after last game, and playing away to Top Team in division does mean we should be more defensive with wing backs for any chance and Williams/Bennett are better in that aspect compared to Bryan/Little Would love a point but can see us being beaten 2-1
  17. Not a classic Championship game here with little quality and some very nervous displays. No real danger and I don't think they have had a shot on goal except couple crosses. As others have said Kodjia is the difference at moment and could easily have 2! Mentions also to Bobby Reid for some nice attacking passes and Baker looks very solid at the back
  18. For all those that are saying Kodjia can't finish obviously aren't here, he's looking very impressive and showing some neat first touches to spin and run at players. He's just had Heaton on top form and some good defending. Linked up well with Reid who got better as game went along. Nice early goal and we're back in it as they don't have much at all
  19. I know we are 1-0 but I'd still be delighted with a point here to build on what we done on Wednesday as it would give the players a huge lift against League faves and show they are good enough. Boro have lots of possession but making wrong decisions compiled with few City players have good game (From listening mind)
  20. City generally playing better and had good chances, and Leeds don't have much threat at all and we're happy to sit back even before the goal. Penalty looked soft at the time
  21. Be interesting to see JET with Agard as that hasn't really happened much - just goes to show how small our squad is when we can't fill the bench with only Wilbs as notable absentee
  22. Il be fair the Preston commentary wasn't the worst iv ever heard! Sounds like an electric atmosphere on there too
