  1. ‘Gasman’ got one thing right tonight at least.
  2. Yep, Bristol, England, Lions, Bath, Ireland, Munster, Stade Francais, Dings, whoever - it needs to be stopped. Can’t believe Dickson didn’t do anything at the time - may have helped KS if he did!
  3. Agree - in fact the constant apologising annoys me far more than the swearing. But this time it was pretty shocking from KS amd direct at the ref and deserves some sort of censure imho. Getting annoyed with the way refs are starting to be treated, and shouted / sworn at and it needs curtailing IMO.
  4. Hadn’t seen that M, hopefully his contrition will help though. Think he will be a pretty big miss for the European games yeah, if they go ahead of course. Be good to have him for Bath as well to put the screw into Obano and show Stuart how it’s done!
  5. Cited and faces a disciplinary panel tomorrow. It was so extreme that I can’t say I blame them even though it will put us at a disadvantage if he’s banned. Hopefully a wrap on the knuckles and a fine.
  6. That was poor. Lucky to stay on imho.
  7. What a performance. Jones has to get Randall in.
  8. I live over this way and my dog walk sometimes takes me in the vicinity of the place. It really is so bad for this day and age. From the outside it looks like something exactly as you describe - early 70s but without the East European bit as some of their stuff was interesting architecturally at least. The Mem is just a shit pit.
  9. Not heard what they’ve said about the Swamp but they’ve been bigging up Tisdale and the team.
  10. I think for the next couple of months at least crowds being back will be off the menu completely.
  11. Do you get a kick out of posting this nonsense all the time?
  12. Yep it’s a good point. Can see the cup being postponed.
  13. Its 2 prem games I think. Really doesn’t matter imho how many EFL games get postponed it’s a different beast to the Prem. It’s all conjecture obviously, but I just dont see the Prem stopping. All about the coin. We shall see.
  14. Four games out of how many? And it’s two in the Prem isn’t it?
  15. No chance. EFL maybe but no way Prem stops. They’ll just have to manage games as they have done so far with Newcastle and now Man City. Because one game has been postponed?
  16. I’d agree you’ll be right and the Wycombe game will be the only opportunity for fans to see live football for a decent while. All my opinion of course as well!
  17. Only time I’ve gone to leave early was when we lost to Leicester 0-4 under McInnes. We were 0-3 down at halftime and I’d just had a guts full and my mate agreed. Anyway we were in the Williams or Eastend I think - can’t remember - but as we walked out of the ground at the Park End we thought ‘what are we doing here - let’s get back in and support the boys’. So as we were at the park end and the Dolman gate was open for the smokers (and it wasn’t exactly a sell out), we thought nothing of it and went and sat in the dolman. Found a couple of seats near the bottom, checked with everyone around us that we weren’t nicking anyone’s seats very politely and everyone was sound. Anyway just after we went 0-4 down a group of stewards came marching over and escorted us out saying we weren’t in our seats and were breaking the stadium rules. Cue much hilarity from the those in the Atyeo that saw us being walked out along the bottom of the Dolman with a rendition of ‘make them stay make them stay make them stay’!! Very funny and learnt my lesson!
  18. Time to call it in @OldlandReddies Cancer Research please mate
  19. I wish someone could show me where I’m going wrong then because it certainly affects my breathing and I’ve tried all sorts of styles and whilst some are better than others they still all affect me to some degree. I’m relatively fit and healthy and when I had cause to have my oxygen saturation levels recorded last year I was at 98/99 like the doctor in the video. Maybe I’m an outlier or maybe it’s a case that masks don’t affect the oxygen levels but in order to produce those levels you have to breathe harder/less efficiently? I’m in no way against wearing them by the way - just find them a pain!
  20. But the point is that when it comes People’s health - both physical and mental - money has no bearing at all.
  21. Why should they though, if they don’t want to? They haven’t signed up for it and they have no moral or legal obligation to do so. Some, maybe most, will be happy to isolate away from family but for some it could have massive affects on their mental health and that of their families.
  22. I really think the money thing needs to be taken out of the argument. Footballers - regardless of the money they earn - are as entitled as anyone else to protection from the virus and to not go to work if they feel that they or their families are at risk. Because some of them are obscenely rich doesn’t mean they have any more obligation to work if they feel it’s not safe than anyone else.
  23. Indeed and there were always going to be positive tests as soon as they introduced the formal testing procedure and tbh the figures aren’t too bad. My point was that any positive tests will give ammunition to those players / clubs resisting the restart - whether that be for genuine personal reasons or in the case of some clubs more self interest / preservation reasons.
