  1. And as long as it continues to be that price for as long as you continue with your season ticket then maybe I would as well - as long as everyone I go with could also be accommodated (unlikely anyway). But the club would never do it. It’s a non starter.
  2. It won’t happen again I’m 100% sure. Would need to displace far too many people to make it worthwhile. The club ballsed up royally IMO in the placing of sections of supporters in the new stadium in placing our traditionally vocal block of fans at the other end of the ground from the away fans, and also in making the section for said vocal fans far far too small. But it’s too late to go back now unfortunately and it would piss too many people off to change it. Not happening.
  3. Anecdotally as I have no actual facts to back this up but the bars always seem far far busier at the Bears than they are for City, and that in turn encourages people to go out whilst the game is on so you don’t have to queue for an age - certainly does with me anyhow! Personally I’m pretty ambivalent to whether beer being available during the game or not is a good thing but what I will say is that I think anything that means football fans get treated as adults and in line with other sports as opposed to being singled out is a good thing, which this step would be imho.
  4. South Bristol Gentrification complete ?
  5. The government can ban betting advertising if ‘they’ so wish.
  6. To me the TV adverts are far far far more destructive than shirt sponsorship and if they are going to ban one they must ban the other. Ive never even heard of the vast majority of betting companies who are shirt sponsors, ours included (maybe Mansion but Dunder?!) but the big boys - Ladbrokes, Skybet, Betfair, William Hill etc taking up 75 % of the air time of the big games - that needs to stop. Even the adverts encouraging you to be careful when betting are subliminally making you think about betting. Tv bans will never happen though - betting companies have the government around their little finger with the revenues they produce so they’re Teflon unfortunately.
  7. Your use of language would suggest otherwise but whatever floats your boat.
  8. It would be very simple for you to copy someone’s username to cover your tracks. But if you are Brighton you haven’t answered why you are so bent out of shape about a league 2 fan having a go about a league 2 rival on a Championship forum. Very odd behaviour if you aren’t
  9. Bullshit you are. And if you are (and not the ‘sad Gas head Bas tard’ that I think you are) then knowing someone’s posting history and tearing into them behind a keyboard and on a site that has nothing to do with you or your team is equally as sad tbh!
  10. We’ve got a new CEO and he has endeared himself to most of us by just talking plain English (not bullshitese) in his single interview that he has done since being here and then simply getting on with his work behind the scenes out of the media spotlight, not acting like some desparate school kid needing love and affection from ‘his fans’. Bloke needs help and if you don’t go up this season so will you Ipswich fans! Feel sorry for you but very very happy he is not our issue any more.
  11. Oh I am don’t worry about that. Posted before that it’s the best ‘transfer’ we’ve had for years!
  12. Jesus ****ing Christ - the man’s narcissism seriously knows no bounds does it. What a cockwomble. How did we ever get involved with him.
  13. Did not see that coming. Fantastic result, well in City!
  14. Can they afford to sack him? (Can they afford not to ?)
  15. So non league it’s untrue. Wouldn’t look out of place at Manor Farm!
  16. Kent - have a real dislike for Rob Key who seems to not like us for some reason so would love to beat them in the final.
  17. How the hell have we just done that?! Up the ‘set!! ???
  18. ?????? Apology already offered and accepted. Duh!
  19. You didn’t disagree with him, and judging by another post I’ve just seen about ‘thresholds’ it would seem your expecting it. If I’ve got that wrong then I wholeheartedly apologise with a cherry on top. Let’s not derail any more.
  20. I did and your post sounded like you agreed with him.
  21. But we’re not at the moment so why are you catastrophising about it now?
  22. I can’t see how he improves what we have at the moment tbh but if NP ever left I would welcome him as an appointment but it’s a moot point as can’t see it happening any time soon. Appreciate your other points, agree re Martin and Simpson is a worry for me but he is the only worry of the extremely limited leeway NP has been given thus far in terms of money to spend. No manager is going to get every signing 100% and NP isn’t being afforded anywhere near the ‘fish in a barrel’ approach the previous encumbants were, mores the pity. Got to stick with it this year then build.
  23. Not sure why you’ve quoted me here? I haven’t said that
  24. Didn’t say that it had? But we have had a tumultuous time of it internally over the last 12 months with our main backroom staff basically screwing us over, on top of the COVID implications and to ignore that when looking at the overall picture at the club is wrong imho. Not sure what people want really. What do you suggest that is going to make us so much better than we currently are?
  25. And your suggestion to improve upon where we currently are is?
