Personally I've renewed my season ticket and have had two jabs, but in the current circumstances and the crazy Covid numbers in Bristol, I've no plans to go to any matches anytime soon. Mostly because I don't want to risk infecting my elderly disabled mum, or anyone else for that matter.
If entry to football stadia does become conditional on showing a Covid passport, I might reconsider those risks though, especially if the numbers are falling at that stage.Yep I’ll not be attending games in the current climate where you don’t have to show proof of vaccination, exemption or negative test.

They want to track everyone! And given the chance it will turn into the social credit system. Look it up.
They track us anyway (unless you live completely off grid), and can get any info they want about us with a few clicks of a button, so it’s a complete non argument. It’s just mass paranoia and / or an excuse on your part and every other person who uses this as yet another excuse.

So why is the Government pushing the passport so hard?
Control?
Control of what? Trying to control the virus and how many people it makes seriously ill and how many it kills and impacts upon NHS resources? Guessing so. Not the ‘control’ you’re referring to though that’s for sure.

Well thats alright then!! I better do something i dont want too!!
******* hell
You don’t have to. It’s your choice. How does that not compute with you?!

Are you aware of all the other laws of which the government is trying to pass. None of them made the news by the way...
Again - such as?

If he decided, for any reason. to not have it, he'd not be able to go. THATS the issue. Its sneaky and its the government taking away our freedoms
Nope that’s your decision and your issue. End of.

You really think it will stop there? Governments regularly add laws but rarely retract them..
What else are they going to do then?

Just now, big p said:
Because come September they are suggesting you will have to prove you have had it.. Can you not see the difference?
Nope. Not if as you claim you’re vaccinated. Life moves on and this is just another change to try and protect both yourself, your family and your fellow citizens. Your choice though.

Really? But I cant go to a football match, cinema, church nightclub without it come September...Hmm!
But you said you’ve had it? I don’t get your issue here?

I've been jabbed, but no-one should ever be forced to have an medication which has only been allowed because we are in "Emergency " conditions.. The fear and blackmail, coercion being used by governments around the world is quite frankly criminal... Anyone in my eyes who thinks different has clearly been brainwashed by the Sage team(12) behavioral scientists. Stockholm Syndrome comes to mind, the ability for people to think for themselves has been the scariest thing, it's frightening.
I for one will never step foot in Ashton Gate if they introduce the social credit system style covid passport. Been watching City on /off for 35 years, been a season ticket holder for 13 years.
Even if it’s not City’s decision? Why would you punish yourself given you have had the vaccination in that situation? Your call obviously…..

Glad they won't be at the gate in October
Yep extremely pleased that this will be the case. Wonder what the club will do pre October. Trial run or free for all?

Nope. I’ve made the choice to not risk a vaccine.
And so you won’t be allowed in to some events. Your choice.

that’s when you commit a crime.
I wouldn’t be free to attend big events. That is a punishment.
Not it’s not, it’s your choice.

In China, you are punished if you don’t comply with what the government wants.
Difference?
Another bullshit statement. You won’t be ‘punished’, youre not going to be put in prison or sent to some camp, you just won’t be able to do some things that vaccinated people will. That’s your choice and you are free to make it. No punishment about it.

I will be proven right.
If not, paranoid.
In the meantime, i shouldn’t be forced to take something or lose my freedoms.
Oooooo a new piece of bull to add to the bullshit pie!

So the bit where it says ‘these deaths aren’t necessarily caused by the vaccine’….did you miss that bit out? And the bit that says by chance some people will experience a new illness?

In this country, more people have now died from the vaccine, than healthy people have died from covid.
What? Where on earth have you got that nonsense from?!

I just read the Glos Supporters facebook page. Deary me
I see they are trying to cheat already errrrrr not a six then kick the wickets over
When a batsman gets in on a pitch like that with “toy town” boundaries it’s very hard to stop them. We should still remain optimistic. One big innings wins it!
Could the commentators want Somerset to win anymore?! Jeez.
Just hope that someone beats scumerset in the quarter finals .
That’s definitely got a ‘gas chat’ feel to it.

This is very anecdotal, and based on a handful of people I know that went to the semis and / or final. Every single one of them has had covid since.
I’m sure a few people will be along to tell us that stadiums and sports events are perfectly safe because of the protocols in place
Mate who went to the final got it he believes as a result (got it confirmed 5 days after). I went to the semi (as did he) and I didn’t get it afaik and neither did he.

I don't have any dislike for Glos but still nice to beat them and wind some friends up. Harmless stuff.
Exactly. My best mates are ardent Glos and City. No malice was intended at all but it seems some were wound up by my post. Just a bit of fun.

Because like a lot of others on here, he is under the misapprehension that all City supporters are Somerset and all Gasheads are Glos.
No misapprehension here I can assure you

Jesus what? Argue your point with fact as opposed to nonsense bullshit and then stupid childish follow up comments. It’s pathetic.
