  1. Odd how people see things, I thought Roberts wasn’t great, but was better 2nd half than 1st half. Looked like he didn’t want to get forward at a first half and that could have been on instruction. Completely different player than Pring be amazed and disappointed if he starts ahead of Pring v PNE.

My biggest concern is that midfield still so in balanced the 3 that started last won’t do well regularly as a 3 in the championship on a regular basis no creation, lack of skill (not battle) no dominance or height. Even if Scott doesn’t go we need a player with some flair who can play forward in midfield create opportunities and link play there was non of that last night. For me wide of the forwards the only 2 players in our squad who have anything about them moving forward are Scott and Pring.

Was a bit surprised to see members can buy a ticket for the Plymouth game as well for £15, what do season ticket holders think about the club selling tickets to members for less than they paid?

ST here since 88 and have no issue with this at all. Pack the gate.

Does anyone know where are season ticket sales now sit?

  3. It always baffles me that people think AG is difficult to get to and from and park at. I live in BS16 and have been going to Ashton Gate for over 30 years never once had any issues parking, had to pay for parking or walk more than 10-15 mins and that’s arriving in bs3 around 140/145pm.

i don’t get the bus but from what I am told bus services and bus routes to AG have never been more available or regular.

As a regular at away games I always think how much worse traffic & parking seems to be on an away day compared to a home game. Away parking at most grounds is a million times worse unless you pay.

can’t be alone surely? Always baffles me this talking point.

Nine days without a game on it now and the weather forecast is for warm and sunny so hopefully by the time we play Boro it will be looking better.

I agree a break will do it good but having looked at the u21’s their next 3 fixtures are at Ashton Gate including this Tuesday! And 2 more before 25th April….. madness, surely they will change that.

I sit in W15 in the Lansdown stand we have a good view. The atmosphere is also good ??
I recently took an American ?? to watch the Norwich game he described the experience as awesome.
Hopefully your visit to Ashtongate is as awesome.

Atmosphere in the Lansdown is good? There isn’t one ?

    this season

The Championship play-off final is scheduled for Saturday, 27 May, with the kick-off time to be confirmed.

Sunday will see the League Two final, kicking off at 13:30 BST, while the League One final rounds off the bank holiday on Monday, 29 May from 15:00.

For what it’s worth I think the championship PO final should be the last of the 3 not the first of the three.

Thanks Dave, doesn’t seem right to me, missed out again for an away game for the umpteenth time just because I can’t buy on-line like everyone else, absolutely impossible to try to get hold of anyone on the phone, surprised the club are allowed to get away with it

That’s not good sorry to hear that. Out of interest why are you not able to buy online? Sorry if there is a private reason this isn’t possible?

  9. Should be a good crowd just 1,000 home tickets left so 21,500 home and 2,200 away looking at just under 24k with  3/4 days left should ensure a crowd of around 24-25@, just 1500 to 2000 short of capacity amazing what a decent ticket price can do.

I'd be surprised if there are only 2k tickets left.

The club hold back sales in certain blocks such as in the top tier Lansdown until all the lower half seats in those blocks are sold.

Read my original post. All upper Lansdown  are on sale, that’s why I referenced it!!

  11. Mates rates, good transfer window, decent run, Man C cup draw looks to be pulling in good crowd for a week Saturday.

showing under 200 left in lower Lansdown, 685 in upper (all blocks on sale) none in SS and 1200 in Dolman.

thats 20k home fans already worn around 2k left, win on Saturday and could see. Home sell out and maybe part of the Atyeo opened dependent on Norwich away ticket sales.

    COYR.

  12. Sat next to E34 today, my god how fast do those kids sing the songs they also get half way through and it’s like they can’t be assed to finish them, not a dig as I’m glad they’re trying to make an atmosphere which the last 3/4 games has been better.
