  1. @Peter O Hanraha-hanrahan That is magnificent!
  2. “Show them our badge” - it’s a pirate and they’re stealing a living (albeit a paltry one) so all is as it should be. Full time training.

  5. That “BlueButterfly” w*nkstain responsible for that screed of utter delusion made an unwelcome visit to this forum a few seasons ago. He was dribbling similar shyte that was completely detached from reality and was suitably derided, causing him to follow his moth brethren to the Eastville flame home.
  6. Finish the thought, man. A backlash from the one supporter’s…what?
  7. Port Vale 2 Sainsbury’s Court Fail 0 Enjoy your long weekend, Red Boys and Gurrrlzzzzzz.
  8. Sad to see City pull a great display out of the bag, long weekend and our fans still insist on metaphorically knocking seven bells out of one another.
  9. Our Ted - rain, shine or gale force nine at Gate today mind.
  10. What the Murun Buchstansangur happened there? Couldn’t see anything but a chastening defeat today. Yes, we were lucky Vardy apparently sold his shooting boots to pay Rebekahkahkah’s legal costs, but overall that was a very fine performance. Mehmeti finally stops fannying about with Charles “Charlie” Charles dinks and puts his ****ing laces through the thing. Pick ee out the stingers, beeatches. On our day, we can hold our own with anyone in this division, but you don’t need me to tell you it’s our day about it as often as it is Unlucky Alf’s from Fast Show. I’ll take that all day long (Good Friday). PS  at Vardy after his antics in September. PPS Wankieat chant ever: “Just like Leicester, your city is blue.” How many teams are there in Leicester? One. Just like Bristol. ️
  11. Think Fleetwood Mac have had more band members than the number of fans the Rent Boys took to Fleetwood Town.
  12. Better to be stood in a tent taking the piss out of it, than outside the tent pissing in, or something…
  13. Exactly, it’s been way worse. Benny Hill, SOD, Jordan’s second stint, and that’s without mentioning the early 80s! Bit worrying our reliance on Dickie goals to win 1-0. Think we’d be in the bottom three without those.
  14. Most importantly, a much-needed three points. Hopefully that dispels any realistic relegation concerns, and while some may scoff at the suggestion we were ever in serious danger of going down, nine wins in 29 outings and some thoroughly wretched performances said otherwise. Other than the victory and completing the double over one horrible lot from the wrong side of the Bridge, nothing to write home about. Cant blame the fans for voting with their feet today, a lot of disillusionment around the club because of the decisions taken that were supposed to boost our fortunes and clearly haven’t achieved that. Much work to be done this summer if anything is going to improve any time soon.
  15. Nice to see those horrible ****s get back into the losing habit; makes our current trials and tribulations that bit more bearable. Couldn’t even pull in 10k for a big club visit.
  16. Can’t blame the fans for being upset about that showing - a feeble capitulation against a hated rival. Seeing those scumbags leaping about in the Atyeo is sickening. They won’t get an easier three points all season. Steve has sucked the marrow out of this club, we are a walking shell.
  17. Well said. Threads about sacking Manning, a classic example of addressing the symptom not the cause. Steve - thank you for all you’ve done to bring BCFC’s facilities into the 2020s, our fruitful academy and HPC. Off the pitch - gold stars all around. But it’s time for you and us to part company. On-field decisions have been a chapter of disaster, and virtually everybody but you could see the choices you’ve made would backfire spectacularly. The club is a soulless entity at the moment, and it all ties back to how you’re running the show. So please, do the right thing and concede you’ve had a good run but we are now headed in the wrong direction (and take every last one of your Yes men with you). Let somebody with footballing nous pick up the baton.
  18. I really enjoy parody club Streatham Rovers on Twitter. Cleverly lampoons the litany of irrelevant bollocks football clubs decide to get themselves entangled with nowadays.
  19. I feel for Liam, I really do - he’s been chucked in the deep end with an anvil around his neck and he’s sinking fast. However, there’s a much bigger picture to consider here. Chopping and changing managers isn’t going to make a blind bit of difference to the predicament BCFC have been in for years; our owners are fundamentally the problem because, while I’m grateful for the investments they’ve made in the club off the field, they wouldn’t know the difference between a football and a ruddy pangolin. Jon L somehow manages to come across as cock-sure of himself and lacking in any self belief at the same time. I keep coming back to his preposterous remarks about us having a top six squad. A playoff contender doesn’t constantly meekly surrender possession to the opposition on the edge of its own penalty area. We struggle with the basics. If Manning does come acropper (and events at other clubs suggest managers get next to no time any more) I cannot believe that we, the fans, would tolerate the same people swinging the axe and making yet another terrible appointment. Tins is culpable too, but ultimately the people who run the club are the reason why we are where we are. I’m not suggesting the Lansdowns just pull up the ladder and disappear - don’t think even they would be that grossly irresponsible - but by their own admission they were looking at viable buyers so I really hope they are working their arses off to bring that about. Appointing another failed manager and giving him nothing to work with isn’t going to get us anywhere we want to be going. Especially when he’s merely having his strings pulled by a posse of circus clowns above him. A thoroughly depressing state of affairs.
  20. The burning question is…pasties.
