  1. I cannot tell you how disappointing it is to wake up with a monstrous hangover every Saturday morning and the first voice I hear next to me is Downsy’s. Actually, that doesn’t look great now I’ve written it down.
  2. This is the other annoying thing.Bristol City were absolute gash last night. If it was some inspired performance by a lower league team that really rattled the superior opponents,I could accept it, but they were ****ing awful. Take out their comedy goal, they wouldn't have scored as long as I have a hole in my arse.It is worrying that we couldn't even compete against that. Oh, you were rattled alright, my Newham slum-dwelling learned friend. As graceless and pathetic as those comments are - we matched them blow for blow over the 180 minutes, he does have a grain of truth about our lack of goalscoring threat. Nakhi should have buried that chance and put the tie out of sight. But I look forward to the hole in Ludo’s arse healing up when we face our whipping boys Watford again Saturday.
  3. Yep, no ambiguity whatsoever in the laws of the game about that. Can have zero complaints for lashing out as he did. Let the salty tears continue to fall…
  4. Seriously have to laugh at them making out it was some reenactment of the Battle of Santiago. What it was is karma for them getting away with fielding an ineligible player when we met them in this competition in 2015.
  5. I used to work for the Daily Record and I can confirm this is true. Celts called it The Daily Ranger and Gers called it the Daily Rebel. Side note, a memorable back page splash during my time there had the Ibrox chairman warning his then underachieving players, “If you don’t shape up you’ll end up at Bristol Rovers.” I wasn’t responsible, honest, but it’s good to know your lot are a universal euphemism for s**t.
  6. We set about them, but it wasn’t OTT. It may be a league of exceptionally skilled players but they are also a bunch of shandy-drinking Pewseys who roll in the clover more than Adge Cutler’s milkmaids. Grown accustomed to being bailed out by manipulating the officials into awarding them non-existent fouls or calling play back about eigh hours after an incident due to VAR. None of that namby pamby bollards tonight - sorry if we were too rough for you, St Winifrid’s School Choir.
  7. Ah, David Woods, the “City fan” who gets all boulshy whenever someone has a pop at the Gash.
  8. Calm down, you Cockney wazzock - You aren’t attacking defenceless kittens now.
  9. Most mid table Championship sides would probably have given us more butterflies defending a slender lead heading into four minutes of additional time. Even a man down and with a severely weakened squad, it looked like West Ham felt as of going out of the FA Cup was actually a good thing. Sad if true but take nothing away from City, who as I said weren’t exactly superb but gave 100% all night and were worthy victors.
  10. Great result, City, and thoroughly deserved over the course of the 180 minutes. We didn’t even play that well tonight but Weet Ham were utterly gutless. Nice to see us set about them a bit and that tit Benrahma took the bait. Great backing from the Red Army. It was screened on ESPN+ here and Stewart Robson was on co-commentary. He was practically crying. Now, hopefully we can kick on in the league. I saw someone say they’d rather three points than win this but I strongly, strongly disagree - these types of evenings live long in the memory. Now over to Norwich at the Stadium of Quiet and hope they can deny the Slags a trip up to Anfield and not have me in the awkward position of having to cheer on the Bin Dippers. Well done
  11. It’ll still never match 4,500 Prowed and Troo Gastards at Stamford Bridge despite there being a train strike, bus strike and petrol shortage so all of them had to crawl to SW London on their hands and knees.
  12. Are we sure? I understand the allocation was 8,924 - we sold it out and didn’t get handed any more.
  13. Mate, for online insanity you should have been on this forum when Pearson got the bullet in October.
  14. Thank you, sir, for those kind words. Best of luck for the remainder of the season and hope you can repeat your European heroics from last term.
  15. We didn’t do so badly ourselves at a higher-division team eh? ”We will overtake you / see you next season” should be on their club badge, we hear it without fail every single season. What a grubby bunch of self-pitying clunges the Gas scum are.
  16. GasGoesMarchingIn would just like to point out that this was a massive game for us, massive. We may have taken more to London than they average at home but something something something Chelsea Carabao Cup, 4,000 on a playschool night. So that’s us put firmly back in our box.
  17. Well that were bloody lovely. While the kids were all tearing into their presents (We do it a day late in my house) the only gift I wanted was three points. Nice to see Watford were in a festive mood giving us an own goal. That’s the best all-round performance I’ve see from us since at least WBA in the cup last year. Funny how things change, when I looked at our festive fixture list after that frustrating night at Ewood, I didn’t see us picking up a point in our next three games. OTIB
  18. Forest don’t care about Notts though, it’s Derby they hate.
  19. Sure Swindon fans will love that given events of a few years ago. But FAMILY CLUB!
  20. City win and Scum lose - Merry Xmas everyone!
  21. They all went impressively quick. But just wait til you see how many Matty Taylor’s Snake Army are taking up to Bolton tomorrow! Toughsheet’eads.
  22. He really is. You can almost see the confidence leaving his body after that sloppy error for the goal. infuriating as we had made a pretty decent start to this game.
  23. 8,924 - that’s a bumper allocation, is that more than we got at Man City for the semi-final. In fact, is that the biggest official allocation we’ve ever received, aside from Wembley or Mansfield on last day of 2013-14 season? Can't wait for GashGoRunningAway piping up on W Ham forum to inform them they took 4,500 to Stamford Bridge and could have easily trebled that if it wasn’t for Mercury being in Retrograde.
