    Evening folks

I hope that those that attended or even watched on TV somehow enjoyed their day. Due to engineering works I have only been in 30 minutes – some of you probably got home before I did!

When we went 1-0 up most would have expected us to win comfortably, but, with West Ham we blow hot and cold, rather than capitalise on an early lead we thought we were comfortable and would win easily …..but, you don’t want to hear about West Ham.

I thought your support was excellent, the synchronised bouncing when you scored even made me smile. Nothing like an away day with a massive following. Hopefully you all had good views (it’s not as bad as some make out) although if I were an away fan I would prefer to be behind the goal in the bottom tier.

In the second half I only saw one winner and it wasn’t West Ham. You played very well and should feel proud, and, I think you’ll win the replay. We could really have done without the extra game.

Met a few BCFC fans in Westfield pre-game, no trouble at all, even sat with a few and had a coffee and chat about both our teams’ fortunes (or lack of them)

Best of luck for the rest of the season and hopefully you can make the play offs and come up!

Thank you, sir, for those kind words. Best of luck for the remainder of the season and hope you can repeat your European heroics from last term. 👍

We didn’t do so badly ourselves at a higher-division team eh?

”We will overtake you / see you next season” should be on their club badge, we hear it without fail every single season.

What a grubby bunch of self-pitying clunges the Gas scum are.

  3. Well that were bloody lovely. While the kids were all tearing into their presents (We do it a day late in my house) the only gift I wanted was three points. Nice to see Watford were in a festive mood giving us an own goal.

That’s the best all-round performance I’ve see from us since at least WBA in the cup last year. Funny how things change, when I looked at our festive fixture list after that frustrating night at Ewood, I didn’t see us picking up a point in our next three games.

    OTIB 👍

Interestingly, very different feelings about their 'rivals'. Forest and County have quite a friendly rivalry and nothing much more than jokey banter. Stoke and Vale can get very nasty. I wonder if it is anything to do with geography. Forest and County don't have geographical areas as such, with both grounds being so close. Whereas, Stoke are located in the Stoke area, south in Stoke on Trent, while Port Vale are in Burslem, a town in the North of Stoke on Trent.

As a kid, I can remember thinking of Stoke as a Midlands club and Vale as a North West club, not realising they were located less than 5 miles apart.

Forest don’t care about Notts though, it’s Derby they hate.

  5. 8,924 - that’s a bumper allocation, is that more than we got at Man City for the semi-final. In fact, is that the biggest official allocation we’ve ever received, aside from Wembley or Mansfield on last day of 2013-14 season?

Can't wait for GashGoRunningAway piping up on W Ham forum to inform them they took 4,500 to Stamford Bridge and could have easily trebled that if it wasn’t for Mercury being in Retrograde.

Sorry, but can't see anywhere near 9k wanting to go......I think 5k would be very good .

I think we will sell out our allocation - chances to go to the home of a European trophy holder don’t come around very often, and the way things are going, there’s zero chance the likelihood of doing so is going to increase any time in the near future.

  7. Oh dear, does that defeat put an end to the turd gobblers’ hopes of grossly inflating their following at Wembley for another campaign?

In other news, I noticed today a Scum fan who has our rainbow badge as his profile pic on social media, the insinuation being of course that “gay” remains some sort of deeply wounding insult in 2023.

Or perhaps I’m doing him a disservice and he was “converted” by his cellmate, as this individual spent a spell inside for his antics with dA gA sHIT sQUAD.

  8. Sunderland my favourite. Great arena, great fans who are passionate yet welcoming in my experience. Also enjoy Exeter although never been there with City.

Worst - Wigan. Soulless arena and their new-found wealth and comparative success had attracted more than their fair share of numbskulls bent on aggro by the final day of the 2000-2001 season and walking back to the train station from the stadium was a bit of a run the gauntlet job.

    Strange that isn’t it?

Of course last year they thoroughly refuted the accusation that they only took 3k because it was a big, ex Prem ground they hadn’t visited for 20 years. Instead they tried to bore anyone who would listen that this was just the norm for them. 🤣

Where was that 3k this year?

They were bragging about selling out Reading as if it’s a major achievement 🤣

Oh God, that self-praise over their turnout at Reading was truly nauseating, conveniently burying the fact that for their previous fixture less than 4000 of their mutants could be bothered to show up for a home game. No wonder they fixate on away followings so much.
