  1. But they've had Tory activists in the audience on the show too. Look at the audience and see some of the Hooray Henry's making comments and that should be patently obvious.

People are not banned from the audience if they are party members, how could they be - it's appeal is largely to the politically interested - but they are required to declare those allegiances so audiences can be broadly balanced.

Red-Robbo, yours is the 78th reply to this topic. Don't you find it interesting that no one is fighting Nick Clegg's corner with their replies !!!!! In the greater scheme of things Nick Clegg is a nobody, I'm thus hoping that Nigel Farage can get to take on the so called big boys of the EU loving Lib-Lab-Con......David Cameron and Ed Miliband.

  2. Did you watch that show?

It was the show that Labours Stephen Twigg was on the panel, Rutland had met Twigg in advance and tweeted to all that she was going to be on the show. Rutland was a paid activist for the Labour party and knew in advance of the night she was going to get her moment of fame.

She quickly took down all of her tweets when she got exposed.

You can pretend all you like mate that these programmes are impartial, but you are not fooling anybody.

   This poster says it all..... ........

  3. What a load of crap. The audience is screened and party members are given equal allocations. The questions have to meet strictly balanced criteria.

It's an independent production incidentally, made by a company called Mentorn.

Is this 'Mentorn' company a propaganda film unit of the European Union project?

  4.  You left out the 'S' on your last word, hopefully he will remember his/his party's position on trident this time, 3rd time lucky.

I'm sure the Lib-Lab-Con EU loving traitors - given the chance - would hand over the keys to our Trident missile defence to the despots of the European Union project. The EU already control our borders and their Human Rights Court tell us who we can and cannot deport - look what a shambles that has led to.

  5. More than likely! I'm no apoligist for the last Labour government, far from it.

Blair was a Tory as far as I'm concerned.

Not as extreme as the current mob though.

Tony Blair and Gordon Brown - like the Tories - are EU loving traitors. The following YouTube video is of Nigel Farage ripping into Gordon Brown when he was Prime Minister 5 years ago - never shown by the EU's BBC propaganda news and views agency.....I wonder why?? :shifty:  .........

  6. Wow people brainwashed by Farage is embarrassing.

On YouTube I've watched Nigel Farage do battle with all the corrupt and unelected bullshitting despots in the vipers' nest that is the EU Parliament. Nigel Farage is a legend for freedom and democracy in the EU Parliament and I'm sure he'll brush off the low level bullshit merchant that is Nick Clegg with ease. Nick Clegg seems like a 6th Form Geek mass debator to me.

  7. For a party with no hope of doing anything, led by turncoats and 'nationalists', there seems to be an awful lot of people going out of their way to bash them.

Bashing UKIP for not 'getting the facts straight' whilst voting for ANY OF THE OTHER 3 PARTIES IS FUNNY AS.....!

    Should be fun.

Where there was little interest in politics before I know of a great many that are becoming excited with the prospect of being able to vote UKIP as a kick in the teeth to the Lib-Lab-Con and their beloved EU project. UKIP are also making the establishment sit up and listen with regard to their cosy and criminally corrupt relationship with the EU.

  8. First thing I would ask if I were Nigel is "will you sleep with me, Nick?"

    Why?

The liibdems seem to want to lie down with anyone.

The only remaining question is who will be the 'giver' and whom the 'taker'?

In my mind's eye I can visualize Nigel Farage in an executioner's gimp mask releasing the shiney blade of the French guillotine to take off Nick Clegg's head. Viva Madame Guillotine !!!!!!! :dancing6:

  9. If Clegg had made that a condition of joining the coalition rather than a doomed referendum on PR, he might just have had a chance of some MP's at the next election.

He's talking about a coalition with Labour after it. Hello, Nick! You have to have MP's to form a coalition

Indeed, the Lib-Dem vote will now be hit for six in all their university town heartlands at the next General Election.  They'll lose about 20 MPs and it'll never be worth going into coalition with them.

  10. I think you're exaggerating a bit there GH. He's actually overseen more wins than the past manager and 12 days ago oversaw a 3-1 away victory at a top club.

I'm not defending the performance at Sheffield U. It's unacceptable.

My first post, where you fixated on the SOD reference, was to say I don't think anyone should read too much into interviews given directly after football matches. I thought that under O'Driscoll and I think that now.

Trying to pick out phrases as sticks to beat the manager is a bit sad, frankly.

I totally agree with you. The job here would be a poison chalice for any manager given the calibre of the squad. Steve Cotterill will have done amazingly well by just keeping us in this division. Without serious investment in the playing squad for new players I can see nothing but bottom tier football for years to come. The club has been reduced to the level of the Gas.

  11. I've come to the conclusion after studying politicians for over thirty years that most of them are liars.

It was estimated that Nick Clegg's promise to the university students about no increase in student fees gained the Lib-Dems around 20 MPs in various University cities.

  12. Simply pointing out that a win ratio is meaningless unless it takes into account the quality of the opposition. You quoted Cotterill's ratio as if it meant something on its own.

Let's face facts, Jose Mourinho himself couldn't get much more out of our current squad. I also couldn't see Jose Mourinho prepared to work with a $billionaire BCFC ownership that's not prepared to spend big. ;)

    Needless to say:

    We want Mourinho

    We want Mourinho

    We want Mourinho

    We want Mourinho :clapping:

  13. There comes a point though, where the manager has to start doing something about that and I just don't think he is.  Obviously it's not SC's fault we're in the position we are but I'm increasingly convinced he's not the man who's going to save us from it.  When he was appointed, I genuinely wanted to give him a chance but bizarre team selections, players being dropped for no particular reason, perseverance with formations that don't work  and a general lack of ideas are extremely concerning.  I'm not normally the first in the 'sack the manager' queue - I was all in favour of giving Johnson, Millen, McInnes and O'Driscoll time to prove themselves (in some cases perhaps wrongly) butI honestly think that the sooner this arrogant, clueless no-mark gets out of our club, the better it'll be all round.

Managerial legends Brian Clough and Peter Taylor managed Hartlepool for a while, they got Hartlepool up the Div 4 table but there's only so much you can do with crap players so they moved on to better clubs with more potential.

  14. He won't wipe the floor of anyone, once Clegg let's the people know what UKIP's " other " policy's are it will wake people up.

Farrage must be mad! to agree to this,he's only got support at the mo from talking about the EU,once the agenda goes onto other things he's gonna be shafted.

A 25% flat rate of tax,no maternity pay etc etc....

The only time we see Farrage having to debate is on Question time, and he comes across as a total fool,I for one can't wait for this :)

Nick Clegg is a known liar. Nick Clegg promised the university students that there would be no increase in student fees. This was to get the student vote in marginal university areas where the Lib-Dems had a chance to win. This area is where the middle class Oxford University educated Nick Clegg needs to be attacked. Free University education for Nick Clegg but for no one else !!!!!! :shifty:

  15. Hear it here, just as the video closes...

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=XNjs4dH5e2g

What Steve Cotterill means is that he is a winner but he's having to manage and coach a team of losers. The BCFC team were a team of losers last season and they're a team of losers this season. No point blaming the current BCFC manager.

  16. At long last, UKIP leader Nigel Farage is to debate Britain's membership of the European Union project with Liberal Democrat Leader Nick Clegg. Nigel Farage, apparently, has also asked Prime Minister David Cameron and Labour Leader Ed Miliband to join in. I can't wait for this, I just hope that Nigel Farage will rip into the Lib-Lab-Con leadership with the same eloquent vigour that he's ripped into EU despots such as Barroso, Van Rumpuy and Catherine Ashton. Bring it on. :P

  17. What was the ticket price?

Be interested to hear your views on the atmosphere?

I just looked on the Arsenal website, they even wish their supporters a 'Happy New Year' - no such message on the BCFC official website. :shifty:

I'm amazed that everreddy managed to get tickets for that Arsenal game at the last minute.

  18. Travelled miles away to watch footie, today.

As the City match was (pathetically) cancelled, but I had pre-booked rail tickets, I went to the Emirates to see the Gooners against Badiff. Match not too special, until the end, but:

How did you manage to get the tickets? Have you got Arsenal membership or something?

  19. Travelled miles away to watch footie, today.

As the City match was (pathetically) cancelled, but I had pre-booked rail tickets, I went to the Emirates to see the Gooners against Badiff. Match not too special, until the end, but:

    The stadium was fantastic

    Transport there so easy

Good food and drink at reasonable prices

Fans of all ages, races, genders enjoying a match in an environment with little swearing or abuse

Club shop selling a wide range of quality merchandise

Clear announcements and visible video footage of teams, highlights, club legends

Stewards who were helpful and friendly

I could go on and on....

    We're just miles away!

This club has been left behind by all the Premiership clubs both on and off the pitch. In the greater scheme of football, we'll always be an 'also ran club' until we reach the Premiership.

  20. It was mid 70's, if I can figure how to get links to it I will.

The Air Rhodesia Vickers Viscounts "Hunyani" & "Umniati" were shot down by ZIPRA (Zimbabwe Peoples Liberation Army, the military wing of Joshua Nkomos  ZAPU (Zimbabwe African Peoples Union) using SAM missiles on take off from, Kariba Airport.

The first onewas shot down, and crash landing. Most of the survivors were machine gunned by ZIPRA Terrs who found the plane. Some escaped due to the fact they went to try and find help. The Second one was shot down, with no surivivors.

At the time we launched our cross border raid to get these evil bastards, we got bucketloads of accusations of war crimes blah blah blah, by the rest of the world. However Joshua Nkomo CLAIMED RESPONSIBILITY for both atrocities and faced zero comma zero condemnation for killing mainly school kids on a trip to Lake Kariba, on the first one, and holidaymakers on the 2nd plane. He also knowingly put his terrorist bases including armouries slap in the centre of the camps. Indeed his prisons were right next door to said armoury. On every occasion we warned our neighbours we would respond to attacks, and asked them to ensure compliance with internationally acceptable standards of refugee camps, but without fail it was broken. We also launched at least two major raids on Mugabes ZANLA camps.

And despite what you have been told by the BBC and other left wing media, Rhodersian troops did  not at any time carry out deliberate calculated racially motivated war crimes. I know many of those guys who did these ops (a maximum of 110 ground troops and up to fifteen aircraft/helicopters) and while I have no doubt some people were killed, they would have been in the heat of battle, not as a cold blooded crime. This is why I understand Mandiba's stance, and a lot of the old Rhodie troopies are the same

You're a good lad bucksred for explaining that. For whatever reasons, the BBC has been poisoning the minds of the British people against various regimes for the past 4 decades - including that of the former Rhodesia.
