  1. Absolutely loving this. The amazing thing is that it's only 15 months since Coughlan walked out on them when they seemed quite well placed. Messrs Garner, Tisdale and Barton I salute your genius ?
  2. Just as well hardly anyone turns up to their games, so they won't really notice whether or not they are playing behind closed doors
  3. But it's not that simple. We knowingly accept increased risks all of the time for the sake of convenience, not least every time we drive a car, or go out in winter (since normal flu kills hundreds of thousands each year). The reason that strong measures made sense in China and Italy is that, for whatever reason, localised outbreaks got out of hand It's a very different situation here, where we have a handful of cases scattered all across the country.
  4. Unfortunately, and unbelievably, Ipswich seem to be in even worse form than the Saggies. They have just lost 4 on the bounce, and 7 of their last 9. Now down to 10th and 7 points off the play-offs. Good job they got rid of Mick McCarthy ....
  5. Meanwhile, the BBC has a quote from Neil Harris that "The gulf between League One and the Championship is the biggest it has ever been and it is only going to get bigger." MIND THE GULF ?
  6. Maybe they're expecting Jose will be available soon??
  7. Be fair, their defence might not be too bad, as they've only let in 2 goals in their last 5 league matches. But that's still 2 more goals than they've scored themselves ??
  8. If you think this is the way to get a constructive response, then good luck to you
  9. Why stop there - an exclamation, an adjective, a noun, an adverb and a verb ..... Ah fuck, the fucking fucker's fucking fucked
  10. Small Premiership, very far away Premiership Small Championship, very far away Championship Small new stadium, very far away new stadium Small santa's grotto, errr, actually quite close santa's grotto
  11. I love the fact they're all so positive, want they dopey one to stay despite 1 point from the last 7 games, and are going on about how well they played yesterday. Successful sides can win when they don't play well. Then you have R*****s. Dopey could be on the verge of history. Has any manager taken a side out of and back into the same league from both directions???
  12. My third away game of the season and I've yet to see us concede a goal Three points would have been great, and probably deserved, but definitely very encouraging signs of progress
  13. They had more than that locked out from every match. Kent police had to implement Operation Stack (Google it if you don't know) when they played at Dover
  14. It's happened in London for quite a while. Some participants hire Boris bikes. Certainly put me off using them .....
  15. Match abandoned after 5 sent off from each side, several of which were found not to have been registered with the FA, followed by pitch invasion from both sets of fans and a fist fight involving both managers and all four match officials
  16. Not great ...... but Brighton have by far the best defence in the league (9 goals conceded in 16 games - next best is 13 - and none in the last 4), they went 2 up from a worldly and a deflection, then managed the game very well. Everything's not rosy, but neither is it disastrous
  17. How the **** are they going to get promoted from League One to the Premiership this season?
  18. Derby in the bottom 3. Good job SL didn't let us choose the manager
  19. Agree about Paterson, milimetres away from being a hero yesterday. Not convinced O'Dowda is quite ready to start, would like to see him taking more risks (especially against a team like Rotherham). He always played the safe pass yesterday, which can often slow down a promising attack
  20. Simple. Because those of us who are mature have lived through times when they have been serious rivals, and indeed have been a major irritant (will never forget or forgive Gary Smart!) I cannot comprehend how a mature genuine City fan wouldn't want to criticise them and slag them off.
  21. A bit harsh methinks, you didn't mention the canopy
