    Frome Town 3 Mousehole 0

That's one hell of a trip for a regional league! Must take Mousehole a couple of hours to get to Plymouth even.

They have Malvern and Evesham in their league. Both 500 mile round trips.

Next season Helston and ( possibly) Falmouth will be in that league as well. So those two Worcestershire sides will have to do the trip three times!.

Clevedon through to play off final. Probably be a fair few people at Bridgy getting sacked tonight.

😁 I live in Bridgwater, always used to go and watch them, I stopped myself going tonight, even though I thought about going in free at HT!!.  But, I now refuse to give them any of my cash, and won’t until the club goes back to being a football club, and not the standing joke it currently is.

Really pleased Clevedon won tonight, hopefully Bridgwater Town ( I refuse to give it the current ridiculous name ) implodes.

    BMF play tomorrow

At least I hope so, otherwise I have 20 minutes to get the other side of Bristol for the coach down there!

Going to be a tough one as Tavistock will be on a high after coming from behind to beat table toppers Wimborne, but only having today off after what would have been a tough game will hopefully be the advantage Farm need to go and get the job done with the ruthlessness they've shown of late.

1 defeat in 10 for Farm now, and so many of the recent games have seen them score 2 goals in a short space of time in the first half to take control of it, then play from there.

    Yes!!, apologies, it’s tomorrow!.
its Larkhall who play tonight, enjoy the game, hopefully a win 👍

Wimborne lost last night so going into the last game of the season so Frome in 2nd need to beat Bristol Manor Farm to have a chance of winning the league, Bristol Manor Farm are in the playoffs so a win will confirm that place, all to play for!

BMF play tonight, away to Tavistock ( who beat Wimborne!). Larkhall play tonight as well, a win for BMF and loss for Larkhall, would guarantee a play off place for BMF. Other results, and it all goes down to Saturday’s games!!.

The authorities will be glad Coventry have fallen out of the play off race a bit else it’d be a nervous 30 odd minutes coming up, what with the play off final being the day after the FA cup final

Apparently if Coventry got to the cup final, and play off final, the plan is/was to move the Championship play off final to the week before. And swap it with the league one play off final.

It’s a penalty if the ball connects with your arm regardless of intent. The ‘ball to hand’ rule was scrapped years ago.
If the ball hits the hand it’s a penalty. If it’s deemed deliberate it’s also a red card. If accidental then it’s a penalty but no card.
Rebecca gave a penalty but no card - which indicates she knew and acknowledged it was accidental but it was still a ‘foul’ and awarded the penalty.

There are basically two hand ball laws nowadays, one in the penalty area, and one on the rest of the pitch.
Personally I’m not convinced yesterdays was hand ball, but there is far more chance of that being given in the box, it would never have been given anywhere else on the pitch though.

Farm take a late lead, sounds like it was a corker

The week before last I watched Cribbs v Melksham, then BMF v Evesham, both as a neutral.

Watching Cribbs was a really hard watch, very ‘up and at them’ football, and possibly the worst game I’ve watched all season. Even though Melksham did try to play some football.

Watching BMF was very enjoyable though, they play football the right way ( imo ), was a really enjoyable watch. In my view, BMF and Cribbs just how playing styles of teams can be so different, give me BMF every day of the week. I hope they can get the promotion they want.

Finally, it’s such a nice feel at BMF, from the music they play, to the good atmosphere and friendliness of the people.

So, they`re off to Fleetwood tonight. A bloody long way back after the likes of Jack Marriott and Jayden Stockley have torn them a new one hopefully.

They`ll probably have about 150 there which, to be fair, is about what we would take too but no doubt it will end up as something like 900 after g*sflation.

Just put the game on my fire stick. They have about 100 there!!

It wasn't fouls as in poor challenges that got me, but the "professional" fouls. Shirt pulling and stopping a break without challenging for the ball is always a card, they got away with 4 . Then add the 2 dodgy "tackles" that he waved play on but looked confused to who committed them when play stopped.
If you want another, late on I think it was McCrorie cleaned their player out with the ball gone, we just burst out laughing when he waved play on. Definite foul and possible booking, by that time I think he'd given up :blush2:
His performance went from OK to clueless through the game.

The ref is clueless, but you know everything…ok!.

Perhaps you should carry a whistle and referee from the Dolman!.

It's the simple fouls of shirt pulling and innocuous ankle taps when a team is breaking out of their own defensive area and can threaten a speedy break on opposing goal. None of them are dangerous like causing injury, neither are they last man/red cards. Simply to allow them to organise their defence.

    In other words CHEATING.

    Cheating by whom, the players.

You want every foul to be a yellow card then. I’m sure referees would like to oblige, but then you would say the ref spoilt the game when it’s 8 v 8.

Thats why you didnt get a true reflection of the game read other comments on this page most agree with me he was useless and so was his linesman just favour the big prem teams or ex .

    “He was useless” ok mate🙄

When will you be showing us show it’s done then?.
Seriously, what do you want out of the officials, other than giving every decision City’s way. It’s boring now seeing the officials slagged off continuously.
If you think you could do better, then go for it, get your black kit on, then tell us when you do your first game!.

Im on about the challenges that saints players were getting away with endless times before any of their players were booked just wondering did you go to the game or watch it on t.v ?

Committing a foul is not always a yellow card offence. I didn’t see any particular foul that they were “getting away” with and not getting carded.

Both teams received 2 yellows each, which seemed fine imo.
I watched it on tv thanks. Do you referee often ?.

He was pathetic must of new saints players by their first names .

A referee will ( when he can ) talk to players on first name terms, it’s all about building up a rapport with the players.
As for the Vyner challenge that earned him a yellow, a close up camera angle showed he didn’t actually touch him.

Did the referee get this close up camera view… no, but because people on here did, then they blame the referee.

There are so many experts at officiating on here, that I’m amazed we have a referee shortage in this country…. 🤣
