  1. 21 arrested now, more than 50 seats ripped out the reporter on 5 live just said.

CCTV will catch a lot more than any of us saw.

Personally I've seen a lot worse at Bristol derby's,but it's 2013 and playing up in any form is an arrest able offence nowadays at football.

  2. Portland is right, the club should be looking to encourage more people to buy the kit and so they should be aiming to please the larger majority. I still don't understand why the club doesn't make more robin stuff, like a retro plain red kit with just the robins logo on it.... that would sell loads and would be a great alternative to the Adidas shirts if that's not something our fans want to buy.

Spot on, a plain white t shirt with a large Robin crest on the front would sell thousands imo.

If the club won't do it then someone on here with that bit of nous could make some serious cash.

  3. Half the people voting probably never buy a kit anyway.

So would you not be concerned if the other half that do, don't!

There is big money in kit sales, surely the club realise this.

It's as if the kit designer says, " right, that's a nice shirt, lets just add something to make it look shite"

(As he puts some white armbands on to it)

  4. How about this one Sunderland can accommodate 48,300 Aston Villa 42,553 Derby 33, 597 and Bristol City around 20,000

Given these simple facts it seems pretty easy to work out that our prices will have to be greater than theirs to allow us to generate reasonable revenue and it is therefore far from surprising that they can offer season tockets at less than we can.

The difference IMO is that Sunderland,Villa and Derby will now probably fill there grounds because of there prices being LOWER. But we wont because of the HIGH COST of our tickets.

Surely it would make sense to FILL our ground every other week with more affordable prices.

I was going for the S/T option with my 2 lads this year but now cant afford it.So with POD prices going up big time as well, the 3 of us will probably only go to about 10 home games.

There are bound to be others like me who wanted to get S/T,and we are part of the loyal 8-9000 so i cant see many "floating"fans paying the extra.

If our gates go UP this season i think it will only be because of the increase in away support at Ashton Gate. It could ( and should) have been so different.

  5. NTTDS is going to get the train from Bristol to Derby, where i shall pick him up from, then we are going to drive to East Midlands Airport, and fly to Prague, for a connecting flight to Singapore.

Then by ferry to Hong Kong, for another ocean going liner to Sydney, for a flight to Wellington, and another to Los Angeles.

Then by train to Chicago, then drive down to Miami, where we will swim through shark infested seas to Cuba, and after a cuba libre or 2, we will get a Fair Trade Banana boat to Cardiff for the relatively short drive to Bristol, parking up at Hotwells, and walking trough the park, to Ashton Gate!!.

    :icecream:

:clapping: Do you think its worth watching the game though :whistle2:

  6. Thoroughly dejected, been ill for nearly four months. Keep rebooking my flight from Sydney, but as at today my doctor and surgeon have cancelled any travel in the near future. Even tried to work a 3 hop trip with overnight stopovers.

don't get old and sick, its the final curtain . From an old paratrooper, well done to Sparkeyboy 72 and the other Bristol City lads in Afghanistan, you have my love and respect.

Keep your chin up mate, lets hope we can do it for you, all the best :cool2:
