I put it on mute and decided to do something more entertaining - review a company's share capital.

Have we been better? Presumably the goal was a fluke.

We’ve been better, still wouldn’t call it good. Almost a role reversal of the first half, Swansea have done absolutely nothing and we’ve created a couple of chances and managed to score one of them.

Players have chucked in the towel. Thats pissing me off now

We’ve gone from having a squad of hard working, honest and truly likeable players to this crap. I feel for them tbh, as much as it’s frustrating for us as fans, don’t think the players enjoy this either, they’re being told to play this way and it’ll be killing their potential in their careers too. Conways got a euros on his mind for example…

One thing I always had to say to team mates when we went through changes like this is that you have to do what the manager says. If you do what he says and it’s shit and it doesn’t work, it’s the managers fault. If you ignore what he says and try to do your own thing, it’s now your fault.

This today is worlds apart from Tuesday, this looks more like a “lost dressing room” than anything we’ve seen to now. They don’t believe in this plan.

The commentator on Swansea TV has said Liam Manning should be pleased!!!!! Pleased!!!!! What the F is there to be pleased about. We've not had a shot in 40 minutes, we are passing it backwards and sideways, we look absolutely useless and it's a rudderless ship. I had been willing to give him time, even up until Ipswich, but this is dire, really really dire!

Right now I would take Warnock on a 15 month contract! Yes the football may not be exciting, but it'll be a darn sight better than this!!!!

    I did hear right then??

but he then went on to say we’ve had no shots. Was a truly bizarre sentence or two 🤣

Hes now commenting on highlights and talked about how the header (nowhere near the goal) gets “closer and closer” each time he sees it…

    I think he’s taking the piss 🤣

At least the Robins TV lot have each other to talk to, this poor chaps on his own.

How's booing them during the game going to help ffs!

I’d usually agree, but this is absolutely dire and it might cause a bit of fire in the changing room at HT

Swans TV for me, prefer a Welsh male accent, wtf have we gotta tick a box as well

I don’t want to derail the thread but why is it that any woman getting a job in football MUST be a box ticking exercise?

The same in the past has been said about black pundits etc. it can never be possible that they’ve earned their place?

And there’s so many shit male pundits, yet rarely does anyone call out how they’ve got the job.

Must be so depressing for women (or any other less represented population) trying to get into the sport to constantly face these dinosaur comments.

To be fair, I, and many others, in January said that we weren’t going up (I also said we weren’t going down but less said there!) so spending substantially didn’t make sense. The one transaction I had a real problem with was the loan of Twine in view of there being no option and it (at the time) being the difference between 12th and 13th in reality.

Nobody could have foreseen just how bad we’d get (the signs were there, I just didn’t think it’d come this quickly) - but signing Bird and Stokes in the manner we did I thought at the time and still do was sensible business.

Yea I'm not necessarily unhpapy with the transfer window from a realistic view

But in the context of the things coming out from the club, it's a weird transfer and window in general

Is it? We paid a fee to steal a march on our rivals, its as simple as that.

    Why is it weird?

Because we were supposedly chasing top 6 and we needed players now.

I'd not even looked at who other teams have to play. I'm just going by our current form.

We literally look like we have absolutely no idea how to break down a side that aren't looking to come at us!

After just looking at who everyone has left to play, what struck me the most is how many times the teams i would say are currently in danger (bottom 10) have to play each other. There's so many "6 pointers" up for grabs which could either give teams a good chance to pull away with a few wins or make it very, very close if everyone takes points from each other?

Win Sunday and it would make a huge difference to our outlook for me!

I don't disagree with our performances, but someone loses points in all those 6 pointers which complicates the "only 6 points from safety" aspect.

There's a reason those teams are down there, they don't all suddenly hit promotion form to gain 6 points in 10 games on teams above them.

I said put £10 on those 4 results. I was using Bet365 if it really matters.

I swear we could get relegated and they’d still come out saying “yeah but what about that Southampton game eh?”.

We were 4 points off the Play Offs, not 3. Not a huge mistake but does make it sound like we were within one win of the top six position we were told we were capable of.

At least that's the next anniversary celebration replica shirt sorted in 10 years time

If we don't win Sunday then we're definitely in a relegation battle!

I don't care how well we've played against the better sides, i can't see us getting anything from the West Brom and Leicester games.

We could then conceivably be 3 points or less above the relegation zone!

Admittedly i do believe we're probably only around 8 points off achieving safety but our form since the new year massively concerns me as to where those 8 points are coming from!

Sunday is a massive game for me!

The problem you and many others fall for is just looking at the table, counting wins and points and then fearing the worst. Not only that, but applying worst possible results to us, and assuming promotion chasing form for the other 6/7 teams at the bottom of the table.

For that to happen you're going to need results such as Sheff Wed and Cardiff to beat Leeds and Ipswich respectively - both at home but still highly unlikely. Blackburrn and Plymouth, and Millwall and Brum play each other.

Next week Sheff Wed would have to backup their massive Leeds win by beating Ipswich away. Millwall go to Leeds, the rest are all playing teams higher than them.

Good Friday Blackburn are next up to topple Ipswich, QPR and Brum play each other, Sheff Wed and Swansea face each other.

It's not impossible, but it's very unlikely many of those teams are picking up more than a few points if that. And if you do think it, I'd head to the bookies as you'll get some good odds.
