Points per game and League table since Manning took charge
mozo replied to Mr Popodopolous's topic in Football Chat
But if its a conversation between say, JL, BT and LM, and let's assume CH and other board members are in the loop, I can't imagine any of them letting that slip. I appreciate Tinnion is a bit mad when it comes to divulging information, but why are we not hearing any inside story on the search for investment for example? They've kept everything under wraps on that front. -

Ha, your loss, its a wild ride. I sit at the back of the bus wearing a Liam Manning T shirt and singing Kumbaya. -

I'm not doubting any of the sources, but how exactly would that conversation leak out of the club? Was Scotty Murray spying through the keyhole? I don't think it's possible. -

4 more points would mean we finish the season with a 2ppg average from the last 8 matches, which is a strong finish, and something to build on next season. -

Yeah we got that with Leicester too. Manning definitely got his part spot on, because the tactics worked a treat. It's then up to the players to perform, and mist of them did. It's a shame that Sykes seems to be in a bit of rut because he was so clinical last season, but not today. -

Hopefully the next two games will tick that box -

You would hope we could bag 4 more points and that record would be acceptable. -

There's nothing wrong with the defenders having possession at the right times. There were a couple of examples today when Norwich had got a bit of momentum, and we smartly slowed the game down and kept the ball a bit longer. Makes total sense. We were dictating the tempo, which I believe is what Manning is trying to instil. -
Could be a really important player for us next season.

Haha, you've chucked a grenade there. Run for cover!

You've got very high standards if that was just OK! -
I think it makes sense to give Williams a 3 year deal rather than giving James the 2 year deal that he will be pushing for. You'd like to think that if James were willing to sign a 1 year deal we'd take it.

I want us to finish as high in the league as we possibly can. Prior to today I had given up on finishing higher than 11th, and had decisions gone our way, we'd have closed the gap. Wagner said pre-match that he thinks we could be challenging for top 6 next season, and today backs that up. I think we do need to strengthen though, and get better luck with injuries. -
I think that's 3 wins and 3 draws from our last 6 games, and 3 of those were very good performances.

Its annoying because two extra points would have given us a good chance of finishing in the top 10. -

We really deserved to win that. Played some lovely stuff and created lots in the final third. Very promising. -

Hungover. Now what I need is to watch City lose and then argue with someone I don't know on a forum -
Good man! It sounds like your life is too calm and satisfying to not have City dragging you back down to earth

Bloody hell, I'm not sure he'll be able to spot a pass when he's got Cyclops Syndrome...

So it that ACL x2 and hamstring x2 now? If so, he'll have his work cut out to build the robustness needed for Championship football. I guess he at least can repair, recover and then do a full summer programme with a PT to configure his body for the best possible chance of getting through a tough pre-season. Then one year to prove himself. Let's face it, Ayman will most likely have to start again a lower level, which is a real shame.

I think boycotting the club when we're in the top half of the Championship and financially stable would be an odd thing to do. I'm not saying the board are great, but we're not currently a total shitshow a la Reading or even Birmingham. Thanks for sharing. A cautionary tale for our Liam...

That isn't a logical argument for so many reasons!
