  1. Surely the time for going public is when they have detailed plans/costings and finance. Cards are on the table and the game hasn't started.
  2. I hope we aren't celebrating our recent promotion in 2045. That would be desperate.
  3. Yep, the desire to be promoted is greater than ever amongst footballing management/boards. In general this matters more than anything else. Somehow a local, sustainable club that integrates closely with the community in whatever division it finds itself in is no longer so important. There's a reason why every owner of a corner shop business doesn't want to develop into the next Tesco. I wish owners would see football clubs the same way.
  4. You genuinely believe it was a new football club? ? Bless.
  5. That was supposed to remain a strictly guarded secret.
  6. Presumably if the shoe was on the other foot a couple of seasons ago, he'd have wanted Brum to sit back and let us survive. Yeah, right.
  7. I have the cost in a BCFC book somewhere. I thought it was about £3m of which half came from an FA grant? Something like that. Anyway, it was roughly the same price as a 3 bed terraced house off North Street today.
  8. It can't be. I've had bespoke cycling jerseys made by small companies with the most elaborate designs (artwork supplied by me). Turnaround a couple of weeks and that includes shipping from China.
  9. The loss of both their stadium hopes and Jeremy Kyle in the same year. 2019 is a tough year for gas fans.
  10. We? So if there are already a few dozen fans planning/determined to sing songs then we're already effectively sanctioned. If the club take all reasonable steps to prevent disorder then I'm not convinced it's ever right to punish the majority for the acts of a few.
  11. My comment relates to anyone who wants to be involved in football disorder. The CSF have a history that is well documented. In a general sense, yes it does affect me directly. What sort of people do you think were involved in the trouble v Swansea?
  12. Anyone who engages in violence for nothing but fun, bravado or some misplaced sense of honour is utter low life. The club and society could benefit hugely if they disappeared entirely.
  13. OK. What I said still stands though ?
  14. CSF. Bunch of life's under-achievers. ***holes.
  15. Its just gossip. Nobody needed to go to university to produce that rubbish.
  16. The Gas' Sunderland love-in can continue next year. Like obedient little puppies in that relationship.
  17. Which isn't a period of time. Its a distance ?
  18. Clear and concise. The irony is, that bloke is clearly unlikeable at best. May even have anger issues. My young son is a mad City fan and I can categorically guarantee that hes a far nicer person that that low life. City 1 Rovers 0. I get the humour and banter being thrown both ways. That, however, says far more about him than it does about us. If only the NHS had more money to help.
  19. In choosing a stadium, I think I'd have Bradford's, rather than their tented village. I'm not sure it's worth bragging about a screen which is on sale or return from Steve Lansdown.
  20. The foil was for the Man City game. City showing its environmental credentials.
  21. At least Windass wasn't wearing our kit when he scored at Wembley. We'll always have that to trump them.
  22. "You sheeds deserve him. £180m for a franchise. Doesn't bother us. We're the oldest club in Bristol".
