  1. Whatever the details of the contract he'll still be here when we get relegated.
  2. SC's brash attitude is looking all rhetoric from the sound of it. If they can't get up for it at home to Rotherham we are ******.
  3. As frustrating as it was for us during periods, they were nowhere near as good as us second half.
  4. Which angle did you lot see showing it was over the line. No way. The entire balk must pass the chalk line.
  5. Have to say I'm pleased with our shape in the second half.
  6. All these chances... Are they all wearing square boots?
  7. Started off as a grass cutter but the slope put it in the top corner!
  8. Tamworth seem less physical than expected. Their crowd very quiet too. Early city nerves now settled.
  9. It's started already. Difficult to judge anything in a game like today's imo.
  10. I assumed it was until nobody laughed and Chiles went with it.
  11. The 1 in 4 gradient is bull. Most people would struggle to walk up, let alone jog or run. Most roads in the alps are around 1 in 10 ish which gives you some idea.
  12. City players have got to fancy themselves for this one.
  13. Glad we're all in agreement. Incidentally, the end of the world on the east coast is now hardly a footnote in the news. Makes you realise that in this world of 24 hour headlines, everything is simply used to pad out the available time until something else comes along.
  14. Anyone get the feeling we'd be just as good if the players avoided training Monday to Friday?
  15. Is all this negativity because he would be the manager? Would the same apply if he had joined as a player in years gone by? Fans not turning up for years at a time? Just curious, is there evidence elsewhere of significant sections of a fan base staying away for months or years because of a managerial appointment, then returning later in droves? Or is this potentially unique to us? The whole idea doesn't sit easy with me at all but I couldn't say I wouldn't go to games. A decent bit of success and thats maybe 5 years without my club. I think if football can leave you that worked up then a few relaxation techniques are called for. Choose to hate it, but don't give up on the club for years at a time. It really isn't personal.
  16. AND he'd have won any Movember challenge.
