Are the tubes running? Isn't there a strike planned for this weekend?
The full strike day is the day after I believe, some members are striking Sunday but no one knows the impact this will have
There are no strikes on the Elizabeth line

There's literally thousands of pubs in London!
It's not like Bristol, you can drink miles away and just hop on a tube for the game.

Oh I don’t know about that. In 15 games he seems to have transformed the Birmingham team under Eustace that outplayed us in August into a useless relegation-threatened joke. I would suggest that’s quite some change!
Who we looked poor against as a comparison

FWIW I’m glad he’s returned, think it’s a good look for your TD to engage through Twitter and keep us up to date on things.
Agree with you here Dave
It does, however, emphasise what a pathetic, childish snake he is!

Then why keep going over it again and again. Who really cares in fact one person I highly doubt gives a stuff whether his photo is included or not and that's Nigel Pearson he's probably moved on like some on this forum should.
Your about as much out of touch as our deluded leader are

Don’t get me wrong I’m not for 1 minute knocking people who pay for parking as we all have different budgets for different things and different circumstances , luckily for me I love walking / hiking ( rain wind or shine ) so I am prepared to park as far away as it takes to not pay , generally get train ( if there available ) or dropped off .
even when I was younger I lived for a brief spell ( 2-3 years ) on the dark side of town ( fishponds near the gas pub full moon ) was pretty much all gas then in fishponds ( how things have changed ) my Saturday routine would be leave home walk down fishponds road through Stapleton road have a full English in old market area , go to the bell ( Radcliffe ) the Blackhorse ( Bemmy ) then anywhere from the try again to rising sun / wedlock’s / ship & castle a little bet on route somewhere . Then into the park end ( Atyeo without seats and a roof for you younger fans
after the game was a little runabout with away fans in the park ( that’s what you done in those days ) then smugglers then into old market ( gin palace ) you couldn’t get into pubs in town them days usually sorry sir no trainers etc blah blah blah after gin palace then maybe a taxi to the portcullis or the railway in fishponds amongst all the gas ( how I never had a hiding I never know )
then home to my girlfriend at the time absolutely steaming at about 11pm after leaving the house at about 9am ( funnily enough she dumped me after a couple of years ) long time ago but great days wouldn’t change it for the world
Totally agree and I'm very similar in my match day customs!
I'm just getting more and more pissed off with how shit our club treats all fans now especially those who really have no choice
Those running us are a selfish bunch of pricks who blow smoke up each others asses constantly and don't even really want the lines of us going anymore

Personally I would rather walk the length of the Portway or walk from chew magna even at my age than pay for parking , it seems football is becoming a cash cow for anything and everything around the game , wages , tickets , food , drink , parking , merchendise it will sooner or later disappear up its own arse
That's all well and good but unfortunately not an option for some.people and it's these people that the club are fleecing (again)

Cheltenham tomorrow a prime example - it’s a shocking card.
And yet Cheltenham are still trying to flog it as a high class day of racing
Now I understand with the calibre of horses and prize money available they can lay claims to this but to your average joe punter (like me) it's crap!
If I hadn't already got tickets I wouldn't go but as I got tickets for me and the Mrs and a meal booked I'll be there
And I gave away my season ticket for that!

Clearly hand ball. That was clear to see even in real time. Its hit his thigh and then he's flicked it with his hand to take it away from the oncoming player.
Although I'm not sure he's denied a goal scoring opportunity as I'm not sure if the Burnley player would have had a goal score opportunity had he not handled the ball.
But it's definitely 100% a free kick to Burnley.
Yep
Free kick all day long
But ........ The ref missed it and var not allowed to look and refer as not penalty or red card worthy

What a ******* hypocrite!
Ian Gay.... did YOU ask yourself what would happen if the Lansdown family walked away when YOU asked embarrassing questions of Steve Lansdown at LAST SEASONS Senior Reds lunch?
No! You acted the big I am!
Jon Lansdown is not his Dad BUT is the Chairman of the club and therfore should be able to answer any question asked..... or don't do it!
As I said, what a hypocrite!!!!
Any chance of an English sentence translation please?

We did our first on earlier this year, departed from Southampton which was so easy it's unreal, give them the keys to your car they take your cases park your car and by the time you get to your room cases are there!
We took in 2 stops in northern Spain, Porto and Lisbon (overnight) in Portugal and Guernsey on the return
All in all was a fantastic experience, went with p and o, couldn't fault them really had a balcony cabin (highly recommend) and went for the earlier sitting at dinner as then as said above you could get to all the shows
Entertainment on board was great and the dining, both food and service was superb.
Never did any organised trips ashore instead did our own thing and again it was great.
We were both a bit apprehensive as although we have travelled the world had never been on a cruise and in all honesty it had never really appealed, the outcome .................. Can't wait to go again
Do it properly, be selective where you wanna go and you will love it
Cruising into Porto on a sunny morning with hardly anyone about is a sight I will never forget
Hope the above helps in your decision

Is that because of how many meetings there are?
Probably has a factor
The big meetings are still well supported but to have 4 or 5 meetings every day certainly dilutes the attraction and competiveness

It’s not a blinkered view at all, read what i wrote. £7.50 a pint puts the casual race goer off. How many thousands was attendance down by for the King George day at Kempton this year compared to pre Covid attendances?
I have a Cheltenham membership and some of the meetings have been very quiet.I pay £6.60 a pint in hall and Woodhouse in portishead! Honestly have no idea in regards to king George figures
