RG made the remark that they we’re ‘competing against teams like Bournemouth with parachute payments’
GT said ‘Birmingham and Coventry are not receiving parachute payments’

You’ve obviously not played bowls if you think the game isn’t exciting. Maybe is dull to watch if you don’t know what’s going on.
As for excitement on the pitch I personally liked to see the likes of Walsh, Smudger, Murray et el running at pace with the ball at defenders. That to me is more thrilling than seeing a maverick showboating and then blazing over from 30yds……….
As a fellow bowls player I totally agree with the first paragraph

This is just ridiculous. This season we scored just 6 more goals than the gas and conceded just 2 goals less. To "celebrate" their relegation is maybe worth a slight chuckle but let's not kid ourselves, this could have quite easily been us going down.
Yes, they're rubbish. But we're only ever so slightly less rubbish. This is tinpot.
Totally agree with that.

Sorry to be pedantic but Tony Thorpe scored the winner in the 70th minute, so on a real time table we'd have gone above them 20 odd minutes before
I’ll take that

From their deluded site:
It is weird.
Our away support is very good, but our home support is below par.
Other than the DC era our home support since I’ve been supporting has been avg 7000ish if we’re lucky - usually below that!. Especially considered we’ve taken 40K to Cardiff, 44k to Wembley, 30K for a conference final at Wembley. I know they’re big days, and we’ve got a sh**e stadium but it’s our sh**e stadium.I'm sure those quoted number are somewhat exaggerated!
those figures get bigger every time they're mentioned

Where did they pluck that average attendance figure from?

a post that’s on slagchat,,,,,,
Why go to the circus when you can support the gas....
Only I don't think our tents are as good and our clowns ain't that funny....- 3

Reading on asschat some of the comments on the “Ashton Gate revised design plans” thread, things like they would rather be in their position than ours, calling us plastic and can’t wait for Steve Lansdown to withdraw his support and leave us in trouble.
Jealous or what

I pretty sure I read somewhere he’s only scored one goal in open play since September, of course he has scored dodgy penalties since then.
who are going to bid and pay the money that’s been banded about, £2m apparently, joke,,,
