Maybe a controversial suggestion, but if we want someone physical, mobile, can hold up the ball and knows where the net is then Jonson Clarke Harris is someone I would be considering. He is also on the transfer list at Peterborough.
Of course, there will be those saying not good enough for the championship, flat track bully, ex Gas etc but we are now shopping in League 1 and 2 and he is a proven goal scorer who also has some of the physical attributes we are sorely missing.
Definitely worth a punt,,he is a proven goal scorer

I phoned Heart FM today, to enter their mystery prize competition.
The presenter answered and said, "Congratulations on being our first caller, all you need to do is answer the following question correctly, to win our Mystery Grand Star Prize'
"Thats Fantastic!" I called out in delight.
"Feel Confident?" The presenter asked, "It's a
Geography Question."
"Well, I've got a degree in Geography from Salford University," | proudly replied, "and I've taught Geography to A level students for the last 10 vears"
"Ok then, to win our grand prize of 2 VIP tickets to a Bristol Rovers game and to meet the players after the game, what is the capital of France?"
"Bradford", I replied.

Peter John Walter Atyeo passed away on this day 30 years ago at the relatively young age of 61.
The word “legend” is often overused on footballers these days but that could not apply to this man, I had the pleasure of seeing him play and I feel privileged to have done so.

Just had a browse on Gaschat and saw a topic relating to the cost of running a football club in the Championship.
someone has quoted our owner having spent £240m.
We will never know the exact amount I know, but has anyone got a ball park figure as a matter of interest?

Is that Zac Vyner in the IKEA tv ad?

I can see that happening, although would prefer it to be the last five of the last home match.
I mistakenly thought the game against QPR was at home, so agree with you it should be Burnley

I wouldn’t be bothered if Scott doesn’t play in this or any other of our remaining games, apart from a cameo appearance in the last game.
if he is leaving in the summer his transfer fee coffers effects what happens regarding new players for next season, I wouldn’t want to jeopardise that.

Just hope non of the sags read this,,,star man Aaron Collins market value £789k

Aaron Collins — is that the same Aaron Collins that’s scored about two goals in his last, maybe 15 or so games?
And one of those was a meaningless goal in injury time in a 5-1 defeat.

Indeed - although I believe we can relax LR..
Alex will be wrapped in cotton wool & placed safely untill this season has ended for us - and rightly so.
Give him 10 mins against QPR so him and the crowd can say their goodbyes.

My understanding was that they were all banned for life, but Enoch continually claimed he was innocent, a claim that was supported by others.
His ban was finally lifted - I can’t recall whether he was actually declared innocent - but this was some thirty years later.
Accordingly, his ban shows as thirty years, although the others were banned for life.
There is one (former) poster on here who should be familiar with the subject @Esmond Million's Bung, the former Rovers player.
When Enoch’s 30 year ban ended does anyone know if he continued playing

Shit goal to concede, caused in part by the pitch, a combination of slipping and the ball getting stuck. Got to question Rugby on a Friday and Football on the Saturday, no matter what the pitch technology
We don’t want to start copying Jailbird Barton by blaming the pitch

Sadly they will be safe this season but when all their loans go back (and tell their parent clubs what it was actually like) and Wally pulls the plug along with trousering whatever they get for their not-quite Welsh international next season will be one to look forward to.
Some half decent sides coming up from League 2 as well.
Their “not quite Welsh international “ strikers value is falling fast, something like 2 goals in his last 13 games

Watching the game and have to give a thumbs up to the referee ( Chris Kavanagh ) letting the game flow and not reaching for his cards at every opportunity, getting most decisions right as well.
