  1. I could listen to him chat youth stuff all day.
  2. Mood hoovers press conferences are taking on abit of a PMQs vibe, in that they’re probably getting more attention than they’re worth.
  3. Why would it? It’s up for sale, there’s no point in doing much more than keeping the lights on at it shows, both on and off the field at the moment.
  4. Knowing the disparaging views senior BS bods have about football fans I would surprised if he cared
  5. If you have a relegation problem, If no one else can help And if you can find him Maybe you can hire the LJ-team
  6. Loses its punch as the dates are wrong. Bottom line is, regardless if anyone’s view is stay or go, the man himself has said the club is up for sale. He’s off.
  7. Not gonna dig out Wells, created a chance from nothing and was unlucky not to score.
  8. Ah but if you’re passing backward it’s going to someones front foot. Snakey Bris’ 4d chess with another W
  9. I’ve banged through half a bottle of red, had a lovely dinner…now just need City to give me a fitting desert.
  10. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/bristol-city-bristol-rovers-agree-9143764.amp It will be interesting to see how much this raises the profile of the EFL internationally
  11. Tuesday night games seem to throw up some surprise results. I wouldn’t rule out a decent performance here.
  12. Yeah, Bent and composure weren’t bedfellows. Exciting player though. My memory tells me he was one of the fastest players in the country, I’m sure it was in Match or Shoot
  13. I was shocked how quick Robbie Fowler was when watching him for the first time - not as quick as peak Michael Owen, but I certainly wouldn’t have fancied defending against that.
  14. The improved communications is going well then
  15. Ironic post title, as Liam hates bingo. Much prefers the calmness of chess.
  16. It's not our first rodeo in the space though. This is the 3rd different approach in 8 years and it frankly bores me that the only constant in that, is the involvement of people who make the wrong decisions. IF I thought that we'd see this through, I'd probably grit my teeth and at least try and be enthusiastic, but given the context above, I can't see why anyone would think "this will have a pay off". It wont. A wantaway owner covered by a bargain basement exec team is not going to lead to longevity in any approach, it's mad to think otherwise.
  17. Indeed. This unanswerable public bodies need reminding who they actually work for.
  18. I liked how they formed an orderly queue.
