  1. As ever, the solution is to put in the rail seating where it was supposed to go, along the top of the South Stand and the lower Dolman.
  2. I’ve never seen City play Tottenham in a competitive game - so wouldn’t mind them home or away. Drawing today has worked rather well, get the excitement of the 4th round draw, and a big cup game under the lights to look forward to regardless.
  3. I fancy an upset after that today. 2nd half was a seriously impressive performance, and if they can take that level into the replay it could be a very rewarding evening.
  4. The side blocks in the upper Lansdown are the family areas, I think they’re denoted by a robin badge on the ticket page.
  5. Said he preferred using powder paint over crayons. Really upset the hierarchy.
  6. The funny thing is, certain senior folk really let their mask down at functions when they think they’re talking to a rugby fan.
  7. The 1st problem with the FA Cup is that the “reward” is well below what clubs (Prem) can get in the league. So it’s of little surprise it’s not really a priority. Had winning it guaranteed a Champions League place then it would have cemented the competition at the top of the table (I am right in saying the Champions League is an amalgamation of the European and Cup winners cup?). The 2nd issue is being stuck on terrestrial TV, having ITV show it is the worst of all worlds - The top clubs guarantee an audience, so we end up with the glam tie of Spurs Vs Burnley rather than seeing the real prospect of a giant killing, such as Gills vs Blades (The BBC was also guilty of this, but not to the same extent). Im not saying Sky would be any better to the scheduling, but an open competition for the rights might raise the revenue and value of the competition- directly benefiting all clubs if win bonuses and appearance fees go up. One radical change I would make, is to schedule the mens and women’s finals to happen on the same weekend.
  8. That 2nd photo has a lot to unpick • an openly ginger person in sunlight • a Gumba from the original Super Mario Bros film • Lurch from the Adam’s family • a man with what seems to be a green tooth.
  9. 7 minutes left.,,against 13 men. They couldn’t throw this away surely?
  10. I think it was a stag trip from down that way, rather than “proper” Exeter fans.
  11. Depends on what metric you judge success. Our youth development seems the best it’s ever been in my living memory. It consistently delivers first team/squad players. So if the metric is “historical performance” it’s doing well. I’d be interested to see the stats for other championship clubs in terms of their pathways, to me that is an important baseline to measure against.
  12. I think it’s a fair label. Not the worst performance we’ll ever see, always in the game, just lacking that sparkle.
  13. I did not enjoy that. A mediocre home performance highlighting the shortcomings we were already aware of.
  14. There’s a small subset of rugby fans who have absolutely no regards for other fans. It’s all about how many pints “the lads” can get through regardless on how many trips to the concourse that means. It would be great if some sections were alcohol free, or not allowed to be brought in during play at least.
  15. I’m watching my 12 year old daughter freestyle (well) to a trap remix of the mandalorian theme. Where’s the time gone ladies and gents? edit - Happy New year and all that
  16. But are you in an extremely high profile role at an organisation whose public perception is of high value?
  17. Cheers mate. Unfortunately it makes for a long time with 2 easily bored kids! Will definitely keep in in mind for the future
  18. Holding off on buying the train tickets until tomorrow incase the lines are flooded - I assume the AG2 is running as normal so that’s a handy back up.
  19. His assist in their last game was wonderful as well - as we know, he’s destined for the very top of the game.
  20. I’m not looking to go over old ground with Niges sacking, but this is extremely petty from the club - it’s not like he was sacked because of fan pressure, so it won’t offend anyone. “Grow up” comes to mind.
  21. The cumulative loss across Bristol sport is very concerning, but to keep this to Bears, I can’t see anyway of turning that loss around, and I suspect that’s true of all clubs in the Prem.
  22. My hearts never been right after the 2nd half vs Doncaster…
  23. In the list of things to bury them with, not sure his appointment is one of them. Took too long to pull the trigger though.
