  1. Sounds like a May bank holiday in Sodbury high street
  2. The size of the Valley back in the day astounds me. I think it was the biggest terrace in Europe at one time.
  3. Blimey, that poor woman and family.
  4. I hope it’s soon, I could use a chuckle. The child haters will be irate if the prices stay the same for kids while any rise won’t be well received. I just hope we don’t have to wait until the end of the sales window to switch seats, I’ll chuck money at the club the moment I can escape the hell of the upper lansdown.
  5. Maybe they’ll go through a goth phase and come out normal on the other side?
  6. Does the P&R run for home matches? My daughter wants to go to the Spurs game.
  7. Not sure there’s any need for this imo.
  8. I’m not gonna comment on the reasoning behind it, enough has been said on that, but thought the kit looked great.
  9. No he’s an utter knob. That aside, I fancy a decent home win today based purely on the last two results, and how comprehensive the performance was on Tuesday.
  10. People will tell you it’s growing over there, which has a grain of truth to it - however it’s very much at the embryonic stage. Theres a professional league of sorts, and there’s no shortage of big units to fit a front row - but it’s not an easy sport to get into.
  11. It depends on what you place value on. As it is, kids tickets are essentially worthless. Little Jonny doesn’t fancy? No problem, extra leg room for £1.
  12. This isn’t the first time a non-terrestrial provider has had the rights mind, Sky used to and aired a fair few of our games against the likes of Bradford Park Avenue (and I want to say Harrogate?) during that period. FA cup will die for me the moment they ditch replays. I think that’s probably the only thing making it “special” that remains.
  13. They’ve (the club) been concerned about their aging demographic for years.
  14. I could be wrong, but I think one of the drivers for changing back to the Robin was to avoid BCC charging for use of the crest.
  15. That was great. Keep that up and you’d really fancy City making the play offs, with nothing to fear
  16. This is outrageous. The dynamic with these public bodies is round the wrong way.
  17. Anyone know why it’s an 8pm kick off? Makes the 21:37 from Parson street unviable. Annoying
  18. You could well be right on the red, and yes that was likely the crowd - 12k was seen as a good one back then
