  1. Well once again this season has no point. At risk of repeating myself, if SL thinks (and he said this publicly) he gave Robinson too long, how is Lam still in a job?
  2. I see Marv the fraud is getting excited that Queen Square can now hold 15k events. Not sure I’d class it as a competitor to AG directly, but the summmer concert venue space seems to be getting fairly congested. I wouldn’t be surprised if the council try and market Ashton Court as a concert venue also.
  3. It was not - it was pending changes to legislation to facilitate its inclusion.
  4. The Atyeo is not getting redeveloped unless City somehow have sustained period at the top of the table.
  5. What can they moan about? That is what was in the original plan, likewise the Dolman lower.
  6. 3rd time this season the payment systems had a wobble?
  7. I’m really struggling to find enthusiasm for tonight. Kids don’t seemingly fancy it and there’s no train home - I’m hoping it will be one of those that fits into the “it’ll be ok once I’m there” bucket.
  8. I’ve only known it once since. My then girlfriend insisted I walked to her house - cars sliding down roads but she insisted. I still mention it sometimes now. “Kids, your mum once made me walk over when the floor was ice…”
  9. The game against Rovers in 96 was called off for this reason.
  10. I’ve jumped off the electric car bandwagon. Looking at the costs 3 years on it makes more sense to hand mine back and go ICE for a few years. Moving house was the first red flag. £1k to put a charger in is pretty eye watering when my first one cost £150. And without a charger, public charging points are insanely priced; £20 a day in this weather because of course, batteries don’t do so well in the cold. The 2nd was the price of the car itself. They’re so far over other platforms considering the lifetime of the battery it’s just not worth the difference - that price has to come down as more are built and economies of scale kick in, but presently there value just isn’t there. It is an incredibly good ride though, and as range gets better and costs come down they’ll become a no brainer.
  11. I’m sure the duo have a masterful plan ready to go.
  12. It’s laughable, it really is. Hopefully they advertise it as a standing area at some point. Makes me chuckle that standing isn’t allowed, yet getting up constantly for more pints and no one bats an eyelid
  13. Rugby fans were promised standing as a carrot for switching grounds.
  14. Would explain the random groups of men who end up in the family stand- it’s certainly more noticeable on an evening game.
  15. Was that after banning England flags at the Cardiff game?
  16. “In 30 years no one will speak of Bristol Rovers”. Colin Sexton circa 2007?
  17. Great pricing, which is becoming a consistent theme with City, so again credit where it’s due in that regard.
  18. As ever, the solution is to put in the rail seating where it was supposed to go, along the top of the South Stand and the lower Dolman.
  19. I’ve never seen City play Tottenham in a competitive game - so wouldn’t mind them home or away. Drawing today has worked rather well, get the excitement of the 4th round draw, and a big cup game under the lights to look forward to regardless.
  20. I fancy an upset after that today. 2nd half was a seriously impressive performance, and if they can take that level into the replay it could be a very rewarding evening.
  21. The side blocks in the upper Lansdown are the family areas, I think they’re denoted by a robin badge on the ticket page.
