Darren Gough said much the same on the radio earlier.
Kemar Roach was interviewed after play had finished yesterday and was having a proper moan about the pitches in the Caribbean, how they do nothing for fast bowlers and aren't enjoyable to bowl on. All the hallmarks of a man thinking "why am I still doing this?"
Can't fault the effort today but they're getting no help from the pitch. Just have to hang in there and hope it breaks up over the next couple of days.
There's plenty of legitimate criticism that can be levelled at Lansdown without having to resort to inventing things to have a go at him over. Otherwise it just reeks of an agenda.
Same goes for Pearson, Johnson, Holden and whoever else.
Yep. Must have been a nice change for him to come in at 250-3 instead of 25-3.
I think I heard them say they were expecting 10k out there on the radio yesterday.
Genuinely think that the only way that a significant chunk of our fanbase might wake up to the reality of the financial situation is if we get hit with a points deduction and/or transfer embargo.
And even then, there'd be some who still wouldn't get it.
