"Common sense and logic"! Our average attendance this season is 19,300, which even taking into account away fans is a suspiciously high percentage of our "25-30k fans" when it is compared to your season's average of 9,100 when you are supposed to have "23-28k fans" isn't it? By the way, your higher crowds this season are on the back of successive promotions and up to five weeks ago what looked like a season of being play off contenders. Despite this (Xmas apart) you don't get anywhere near to selling out your tiny little ground (despite your club pretending, it isn't really a "stadium", is it?) even though you are now again based in what is supposed to be your heartland, North Bristol. I can only come to one of two conclusions, if you do have the numbers of supporters that you claim then despite what the local media and your club keep telling us, your actual "support" is pretty shit. Otherwise and much more likely though is that you simply don't have that number of fans interested in your club and so your current average is, as I said before, only actually about 30% of Bristol's football fans.

This season's attendances would suggest it is about 30%. That blue "half" of Bristol line peddled by the local media (and them) has been a myth for years.

Not sure the sale of Cureton for £250k to Reading was exactly genius.

8089 were there tonight, with 411 of them from Charlton.. **** me, one game at home that they don't win and the self proclaimed "best fans in the world's" crowds plummet to only 7600 home fans. Pathetic.

Just seen it, an unbelievable decision. Sent off for handball, no way was it deliberate and the ref wasn't even going to stop the game initially. One of many odd refereeing decisions they seem to regularly benefit from.

Nope.
-
Yep, yet another one..
-
I somehow doubt this.

Having just watched the goals Taylor blatantly trips the guy marking him off the ball and so is left alone to score the second and looks to be well offside when he scores the third. What with a staggering combination of regular opposition red cards and penalty awards they do seem to have a lot of "luck". Perhaps that is why Wael doesn't spend any money on players?

In the league, yes.
-
As they struggle to fill their poxy little ground I don't expect they will be banning any of their ******** any time soon..

One league win this season without the aid of a penalty or red card. If luck evens itself out they won't win again until February.
-
With 3 penalties in 4 games they must think their luck will last for ever..

Still, at least we're not bumping around near the bottom of the lower division year on year with absolutely no sign of getting out of it, eh?

Would love to see Trego captain the side, we then need an overseas batter at 3..

Somerset should be very proud, another brilliant season, another group of excellent, local (well, largely Devon) youngsters discovered. Just need Middlesex to show some backbone against those arrogant tykes..

Their best defender (Shackell) is out, so Alex Pearce who was on loan to us last season plays, but so is our best midfielder... As the OP says we have a very poor record against them, whilst their form so far has been simply awful. Despite the BBC website's negative spin on our current form, "1 win in 5 league games", why stop there? (3 wins in 7 is equally valid), on paper we should win, though I can't believe that Derby are going to struggle this badly for much longer. Team selection will be very interesting, I can't ever remember a time when we signed 4 new players and by a couple of games later not one of them had started a single game for us.. Wouldn't be too shocked by a 1-1 draw.
