  1. I like to think that I can learn something everyday, I don't close my mind off to many things. This thread has been a piss take yes, but for me has been an education about law, courts, business etc. Yes it happens to be about our lesser neighbours but could apply to any business, but as it has been about them I've taken an interest and people have answered the dumb questions I've asked with good grace, thank you.

It's your right not to be interested about them, but we really have tried to put all the threads in this one and people have posted in here too. Basically it's easy to avoid if you don't want to read or contribute, just don't click on it!

Come on though, don't you get fed up with seeing the words Basement ' ROVERS' in the first page every day???

I loathe them so much, I'd much prefer they didn't even exist.

  2. Shoot me down if you wish, but will there ever be a day when rovers aren't discussed in so much detail on this forum?  I can't be the only one who feels sick of seeing their name seemingly glued to the pages of OTIB for almost 2 years now.  Sorry, I just had to say it and get it off my chest!!!

  3. Well, we'll score three, that's something you can almost take for granted at the moment, or so it seems.  But Bradford, hmm, how many will they score, because they will score, of that I feel certain.   I'll go for two on their part.  So, a cracking game on the way, a 3-2 City win with a shed load of entertainment, a man almost being blown off of his shed whilst cheering a goal, and another three points to help us as we bid to return to the league of the Champions...

I'll say that the goal scorers for us will be: Agard, Bryan, and Flint.

  4. Incredible amount of dialogue and debate on this thread; acts as quite an interesting read.  The problem is you just never know exactly what those being arrested, banned, and then possibly prosecuted, have actually done on the night.  I'm certain it amounts to a little bit more than just infringing on the field of play.

I know of at least ten people who were on the pitch that night, and not one of those people has been arrested or subjected to an early-morning wake up call at the hands of the police.

But in all honestly though, the measures used here by the police did seem very extreme and somewhat drastic.  I'd love to know exactly what those being arrested were guilty of.
