Anyone know their attendance for today’s game?
I need something to laugh at

I have zero interest in rugby. Ruins the pitch and also really annoys me that our biggest stand and concourse is all about rugby! It’s our home!
The pitch seems to be doing ok, unless it's the faded lines that you are referring to.

Seriously am fed up with the rugby, why can’t they go back to the Mem and focus on Bristol City! The rugby lines make us look tinpot!
25,000 Crowds suggest that won't be happening soon

Frustrating the club moved this to a Friday night, cannot keep travelling 6 hour round trip for evening games! Also means my kids miss out when they want to go, wonder what the rationale was? Hopefully it’s accessible online.
Stadium not available Saturday and Sunday

It makes me smile no end just reading their posts about where they think the portaloos will be placed

They've found a way of increasing their attendance figures without increasing their own support
That's just under 11500 capacity now . Plenty of space to offer Derby Bolton Oxford Reading 2500 plus tickets. -

That will depend on whether they can move out all the cattle in time
You mean mooove, surely?

He's nearer to the truth than he thinks...
The acoustics (in the new stand) were pretty good with the whole ground in song. If that was full it would be rocking.

Having a bowl makes it so much easier tho
It’s great for meeting mates before and after the game who sit in different stands and of course, having away fans in a separate stand makes it easier for ticketing, segregation and safety issues.
I can’t see the club ever changing that arrangement.

So now they have a new stand with ‘new seats’ and no one is tempted to sit in it…
Looks like well under 7500 home fans bought tickets so far. Almost all of the south stand tickets still on sale and seats and standing almost everywhere.
Disappointing after all the noise over not being able to get tickets for Norwich.
Would have thought lots more would have been tempted by the new seats, especially as it is warming up.- 3

I know this is an oxymoron, however a very good article by This bloke on Bristol Live,, highlighting the difference between VAR and Non VAR football and they way the game is progressing on different paths. Of course using our recent game to underline the difference.
Worth a read!

It looks bad enough from the front, but **** me that is truly horrendous.
They'll be working out now how to get the portaloos in, the ones they'd forgotten to include in the design

Needed cheering up so have had a read of Gaschat. Before the match they expected the new stand to be 'rocking' and 'the Canaries wont know what's hit them'
Photo of under the stand - 'Is that Wembley?'
Another one...
Great view, I was a third of the way back.
I imagine the view was even better further back/up
When full, the pillars will impact some seats but overall very impressive
The atmosphere was good and when full will improve the stadium atmosphere without a doubt
Underneath plenty of room to include eateries, bars & toilets and pre- match and at half time I can imagine it absolutely bouncing
I think I’ve found my new home -
One speaks the truth
Even so my biggest disappointment was the lack of noise from our fans for large parts of the second half.

Is there any particular reason as to why this thread has always been so popular?

Hard to tell from the photos of the cow shed but what happens to those below if someone in their seat knocks their cup of coffee over? Or worse...
Out of date Fanta for instance

The irony of this. Most of their matches are won with undeserved penalties and oppositition sending offs!
Just read another warped view….
ave you seen the highlights ?
I’ve just watched them and he’s miles onside for the first.
The second was never a penalty the forward has bought that totally and the officials fell for it.
Can’t see any handball for the third at what point was there a handball ?
I think it may have been Evans crossed it, and their player jumped with his arms up, and hit his arm... they then broke. Arms in an un-natural position. All 3 goals shouldn't have stood. -
