Absolutely spot on PF.
Compared to mens football the limited coverage women’s football gets reflects the fans interest. I only ever watch women’s football when the Lionesses are live on tv and I couldn’t name one Bristol City woman player.
I am pleasantly surprised to see that BCFC women gets decent attendances tho.
Didn’t think you were interested. Was it the sex change that altered your view?

Benedicte Haaland makes her first start in goal since returning to the club.
Aspin, Connolly, Jones the only starters from Sunday to retain their places.
Two academy players on the bench, including Manon Pearce.
KO 7.30pm. Game not being streamed live on FA Player, and is only available on SpursPlay; Spurs' streaming service which is subscription only.
I'm not at the game (one trip to Brisbane Road this season is enough for me), so will probably have to follow updates on Twitter like everyone else

Still 0-0 at 65 mins. Villa looking the most likely to score.

There’s a good chance of BCWFC climbing 3 places with a home win against bottom club Aston Villa today. The 3 teams above, West Ham, Brighton and Everton play Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea respectively.

I don’t think the Lansdown’s have any interest in the women. My belief is they only took Bristol Academy on when Rovers left the EFL for a while, because they would have looked such dinosaurs if they forced the club to go to somewhere like Swindon or Cheltenham. They have done the minimum they can get away with until the last Euros suddenly made them realise that there might be a market for it. Even this summer the CEO left and no recruitment of any other sort appeared to happen until a new one was in place, which probably didn’t give Lauren much time to have a cohesive squad at the start of the season. The very long summer break could have been used to get some togetherness going if recruitment hadn’t been left until preseason was beginning.
To be fair, SL and his wife attended quite a few games around 10 years ago at the Stoke Gifford Stadium.

I used to run along West Town Lane at about 6pm most Saturdays and buy the Green Un outside your pub in the 70's.
Are you confusing the Red Lion with The Happy Landings?
