  1. Completely agree, I am usually glass half full and would say beat Barnsley and Birmingham then go to Cov with renewed confidence. Thats what I hoping for anyway.
  2. Just improvement, top half finish, maybe challenge for play offs. Otherwise what was the point in sacking the previous manager?
  3. Lose the next 2 then a tricky trip to Coventry. We will be in a relegation battle which is not what I expected under NP.
  4. 2nd favourite after Coventry. Ran from the back of the stand to front with my daughter, what a feeling
  5. My first proper away game aged 12. I had been to Eastville a few times but as that was just down the road i dont really class it as an away trip. Being12 on the packed terracing i cant say my view was brilliant but the atmosphere was fantastic. I remember the coach stopping at the services and it just bouncing with red and white scarves.
  6. Is there a rule in football that women can't play in a mens team?
  7. I'm sure they are good enough else they wouldn't get the gig, lets face it some of the male officials aren't brilliant. The only way they will improve is to officiate at the highest level. Who knows it may stop the disrespect usually shown to male officials. Good luck to them and lets hope every decision is not investigated under the microscope because they are women.
  8. You don't hear "City til I die" enough. Always makes the hair on the back of my neck stand on end.
  9. The only stat that counts is the one which read 1-1 You can out play, out pass or out tackle a team, you have to out score them to win. Glass half full we are 8th and only a win outside the top six COYR
  10. i know several clubs were interested in buying Cam during his loan spells but the club wouldn't sell so its great that he has taken his chance.
  11. Walking along the beach at St Ives on Sunday and someone had written in the sand "The Gas Are Down" - It looks like whoever it was was right.
  12. The same way it did at the end of last season. SKY & BT never showed every game so the ones they weren't going to show they could do for free. As i said it would be a good gesture.
  13. As we approach the 2nd lockdown, peoples lives turned upside down. Can't play football, go to the gym, play golf, go to the pub, go to Cabot to look around the shops. Many back on Furlough, worried about their jobs, the future, their health. What a nice gesture it would be if the Premier League, EFL, Football League got together and agreed to show free to air games on the TV (BBC / ITV) Even nicer a gesture from the club in these strange times - free streaming of games. Won't happen but could give good PR if it did. Stay safe
  14. Club in a no win situation. However they decide to allocate the limited capacity there will be plenty who moan as it does suit them. Its a crap situation so just accept you're probably not going to get exactly what you want.
  15. I thought there was a fund set up and in the first few days over £300k was raised - could be wrong though.
  16. I may be cynical but on this I have to disagree with you. Anyway, to be arguing over this or anything else surrounding the death of 2 people is as you rightly say discourteous and probably upsetting for those involved directly.
  17. Do you think they would have called the search off if the body had been identified as the pilot? I don't know where or how they would look as I'm not an expert but it just seems wrong.
  18. What I found truly sickening this morning was the news on BBC 1 that the body had been identified as Sala and the search for the pilot had been called off. We should all remember there were 2 people on that plane 1 cost £15m one didn't but the families loss is still the same.
  19. This has 0-0 written all over it. QPR to park the bus after a 7-1 defeat City unable to break them down and settling for an away point. I hope I'm wrong and we can get our season going with a nice win with a few goals.
  20. We are struggling now so we won't be any worse off. I didn't particularly think SOD should go now, i did think that a few weeks ago, but have you not been looking at the league table this season. As the e-mail states the league table doesn't lie and we have been in the relegation zone most of the season. I have no ideal who will be the next manager and most of the names suggested do not inspire me at all but it wasn't working under SOD and the board have been brave enough to act early enough to give whoever comes in time to avoid relegation. Like someone else has already said only time will tell if this was a wise move or not. I hope it is.
  21. Liam Fontaine for attitude and form. Waited the whole of last season for a chance in his preferred position and when that chance came due to injury has grasped it with both hands. AND HE'S SCORED !!!!
