Possibly,  but I’m not sure about that. If Ashton Vale had been designed properly, and I can’t remember the plans, a stadium of 30k ish wouldn’t have looked much bigger than Ashton Gate’s current lopsided redevelopment of 26.5k ish. It could have had more two tier stands with the away supporters placed in the top tier of one of them. With crowds of 20k the lower tiers would have been full every match creating a good atmosphere. Can any remember what the proposed Ashton Vale stadium plan looked like?

One piece of work left to join the ateyeo will take it to nye on 30k I expect.

if we’re at 27k capacity I was trying to figure out where the 4k are . I know some is in atyeo as they’ve not got full allocation . But a quick scan of the seats on sale doesn’t add up to the remaining seats ? Any idea from anyone ?

    23k sold

    500 away not sold yet

    1000 away not given

    1000 left in home end

1000 I'm told before is due to segregation

not sure about the other 500

  4. Mirror is a good read today,,,,,

At the other end of the table, Joey Barton's Bristol Rovers are the favourites to be relegated. The Gas sealed a dramatic promotion on the final day of last season with a scarcely-believable 7-0 win over Scunthorpe seeing them pinch the final automatic spot. But our number-crunchers calculate Barton's side have an almost 100 per cent chance of going straight back down - only a handful of its simulations had Rovers staying up.

Unfortunately, all my family were Rovers supporters (I don’t hold it against them) so I couldn’t watch a City match until I was able to make my own way to the ground. This was about 1960, though I can’t remember the date or the match. Although I lived in Kingswood it wasn’t a problem getting to there as, in those days, there were bus “specials” that ran from all over the City directly to Ashton Gate.

City will be full of confidence after the 5-0 thrashing of Hull City and Huddersfield are safe in the pray offs and will want to avoid injuries - I can see a City away win.

Be a nice way to end the campaign having had such a frustrating season.

definitely, if we win we will leave this season full of optimistim for next season but also concern the team will be dismantled  by the Premier vultures
