Their opponents, Blackfield& Langley, play in the Wessex Premier Division. Is that higher or lower than Sheppy?
Both in Div/level 9 but different regions.
SM in Western league prem and 3rd
BL in Wessex league prem and bottom 20th

Great cross from Wells for Conway’s goal, with his left foot too.
I’ve got no complaints about Massengo’s goal being ruled out.
Weimann was really unlucky when he hit the crossbar.
Marco Van Basten esque had it gone in

Watched Yate get tonked 0-4 by Salisbury this afternoon.
Yate were awful...worst I've seen them in years.
Of the City lads on loan...Omar was Yates best performer by far. Prince Henry got hooked...he had a nightmare game. Offered nothing. Looked lost. Didn't win one ball from his marker. Poor movement and awareness.
Barny Soady also had a poor game.
Steve Claridges Salisbury played decent football. Peter Beadles Yate played hoofball. It was awful...might as well never bothered with a midfield. Totally by passed.
Stand out player for Salisbury was their number 10 Brandon Goodship. Hell of a strike on him with both feet. Good awareness and movement.
was never going to last they are a not a southern prem club, playing above their level, bit like Rovers. We dont like them in Weston

Made a quick table from Transfermarkt, seems to be more accurate (no 58 random games for Pembo)
Manager Games Losses Percentage Nigel Pearson 64 34 53.13% Derek McInnes 63 32 50.79% Keith Millen 57 27 47.37% Sean O'Driscoll 44 20 45.45% Dean Holden 41 18 43.90% Lee Johnson 217 80 36.87% Gary Johnson 237 74 31.22% Brian Tinnion 58 16 27.59% Danny Wilson 142 39 27.46% Steve Cotterill 116 28 24.14% Thanks, my only consolation is the order is the same except KM has jumped up a couple of places

So apart from inaccuracy of the stats and even the actual managers, any context in relation to spend, state of the club at the time and division we were in, this is quite interesting
(sorry MattWSM, know you were only trying to start a debate).
haha no problem, indeed I was but clearly some data issues here.
Yes agree with all comments, i trusted Soccerbase but clearly holding wrong data as SC lost more than 11.
If i have an hour later might do a quick factual check.
Anyway...hopefully we get a better 'performance' tonight as not worried about the odd loss, just like last year I felt we were in it for many games but Sat thought we were well beaten generally in all areas

Anyone notice that they were a mixture of Heddlu and the Met?
If you were in any doubt about how stretched Avon & Somerset Police are then you shouldn't be anymore. Literally at crisis point, but nothing in the Evening Post obviously. Beat teams get tanked for the summer to cover the Response teams who can barely cope let alone Police a football match...Yes I noticed that, never seen that before

Also the midfield being completely over run which could contribute to individual defensive errors.

What were you expecting? It was exciting and lots of goals. It just confirms what I have always said about those who say, "we don't expect success but we expect to be entertained". Bollocks do they.
Nope. i was expecting a much better performance but was left disappointed about many things and least was the actual result tbh, felt the quality was even less than last season. Happy to lose like we did many times last season but then often came away thinking could have won or drew but didn't because I felt it was 'just' down to an individual error or two, generally, not all matches of course. Yesterday felt deserved to lose and Sunderland were better side and we were poor in many areas for large swathes of the game.
That's simply just how I saw it, which dont think my opinion is bollox as you say but fair enough if thats you see it...haha.

Seemed like the ball was getting caught under his feet for most of the game.
There was a moment early in the second half where he didn't know what to do with it, then lost possession.
Needs to take the opportunity when it presents itself. Without knowing the extent of James' injury, he could have used today as a chance to push for a regular starting place.
Didn't do enough today.
I thought it got caught under all of them, worst performance I've seen for a long time

Sunderland only sold 2,000 and something tickets in an end that holds what 4,500?
Mistake to give them so many, should have given a block to our fans
'Think' it holds 4,200 and 'think' they sold 3338,,so 862 seats in the dolman corner not allocated I 'think' ..
Birmingham away
