City in a back four
At least that's what the warm-up would indicate with the defence being tested with long balls from halfway and Zak Vyner and Callum O'Dowda lined up on the outside of Tomas Kalas and Nathan Baker.
O'Dowda has played there before, and this week it was interesting in his press conference he wanted to emphasise he's an "all-rounder" but it's a big call from Pearson.
To be fair to the OP a quick look at his posting history shows he started the Baker thread when he re signed and knew the opening fixtures etc before they were released so obviously some ITK... Everyone gets duff information from time to time but I hope he doesn't stop people posting what they have heard
He is still one of the best man managers in the game. As Rob alluded to on OSIB podcast, it would be the ultimate test of his abilities to see if he can do it with this group of players.
Depends how you defined 'worked out'. Took over with them 21st and in big danger of going down under Woodgate, 8 games - 4 won, 4 lost. Kept them up and finished 17th. First full season finished 10th. I would take that...
Michael Flynn or Alex Neil would be the cheap options!
Unsure if Smith or Farke would have settlement clauses... and also no chance of wanting to come to this basket case of a club.
